Man they can't handle the truth lol

When it's all said an done Manny will have an asterisk by his name. They will say he never tested positive

Well bitchass Pac fance neither did Lance Armstrong. And people were suspicious of him like they are of PEDman

Well now you're just talking about the demands of the sport they compete in.

Because the best "athletes" from a vote or any kind of testing would likely be triathlon competitors. In my opinion, tennis players. So, it's not even worth discussing like that; every sport being so different and the physiques required to compete, so diverse.

It raised red flags in America and nowhere else, according to you, because the USA is the home of PED's. American athletics leagues or individual sports, soccer and tennis aside, are the pinnacle of physical competition around the world.

Mayweather taking long breaks in between is suspicious :deal
By the way Marquez just fought Juan Diaz @ 135 (Lightweight) and then Marquez goes up in weight against Mayweather which Marquez weighed in @ 142 and Mayweather 146.

Mayweather knows how to cheat on the scales already fighting a smaller fighter who just fought @ 135.
Like I said once again... People doesn't give Mayweather any credit well unless you are a Mayweather fan :deal

Seems like you cant read. The point is he didnt move up 15 + pounds and retain his speed, physique or power. Let alone knocking out bigger fighters. If you cant see the difference then you are lost. Check that....beyond lost.

I think it's pretty obvious that Pac was the one who avoided Floyd.

    Ariza said it

And now Pac's own coach is saying it.

*******s, spin your way out of this one :).

    This.

Shall he face Rigondeaux just to appease some?

Judah was one fight removed from being P4P #9 on The Ring's list, and he certainly qualifies as a top ranked slick fighter. Ranked as a clear top 5 WW, although not on the P4P list.

To some degree, depending on ones' definition of "slick," JMM may apply.

Honestly, Canelo is highly slick on the defensive end (edit: body and head movement, despite slow ass footspeed). Although I didn't have him on my P4P list at all, he was the top JMW in the world and on The Ring's list, whatever that's worth.

'Speculation' lol. It's coming from the mouth of mannys own trainer. Roach knew there was something in those drinks, in fact the boxing world ( and that means those involved in boxing and not manny Internet forum cheerleaders) knew.
Would you take a drugs test for 40 million payday? Be honest. For 40 million you can stick a needle in my **** every hour if u wanted!
I remember mannys excuses do you? 'Taking blood weakens me' etc etc.
floyd doesn't have or invent excuses. Arum invent ludicrous conditions, arum is the stumbling blocks.

What fight has manny ever got ppv percentages??? Let me help you out.NONE. So floyd won't let him for their fight either.

    Is that sarcasm?

How people can be so oblivious to PED's in competitive athletics since the late 1960's is beyond me... Spend a couple hours doing some research.

High school football teams from small schools with no players having any hopes of moving on to the next level have many on PED's. Pro athletes at the very highest level of competition with millions of dollars and their children's livelihood at stake? Of course they're clean!

Whoa. This thread ballooned out of proportion overnight.
Good to read that some people actually understands lineality.

Bottom line is, for FMJ's claim, my opinion is at follows:

    1. He got the lineal champ title when he defeated Baldomir. He lost it when he retired after.
    2. Mosley and Margarito fought for the vacant title (since they are within #1 to #3, and Margo already defeated Cotto at this point, arguably #2), and Mosley got it.
    3. FMJ got back from retirement, claimed the title back from Mosley.
    4. This is where the debate is. He then announced inactivity for an indefinite amount of time. This stretched for over a year. The lineal title should've been stripped from him at this point because of inactivity, especially when the likes of Pac are seriously challenging his claim.
    5. He came back from vacation, beat Ortiz, then beat Guerrero. If you want to give him back the lineal title, it should've come from defeating Ghost. Not a good idea IMO. This should only net him the #1 contender spot, at best.

Probably the last "slick" fighter Mayweather faced was back in 2000 when he faced and defeated Emmanuel Augustus.
Augustus was extremely under-rated and his whole career, under managed. He was a super talented fighter who could fight effectively in many different styles, switching from slick to brawler at will.

Allow me to dip into Boxrec for one moment. I can't recall these details without it...

    George Foreman

    11/5/94- W TKO10 Michael Moorer, for the Lineal Heavyweight title + WBA*/IBF
4/22/95- W MD12 Axel Schulz, Lineal defense + IBF defense
    11/3/96- W UD12 Crawford Grimsley, Lineal defense
    4/26/97- W SD12 Lou Savarese, Lineal defense

    * stripped of WBA for not fighting mandatory
** stripped by IBF for not fighting rematch with Schulz

Did anybody legitimately and dead serious try to have Foreman "stripped" of the lineal HW title or pretend he never earned it in the first place at that time? Because he sure as hell struggled against inferior and undeserving challengers while clearly not fighting the top of the division for those three defenses. Also, did he get "stripped" of the lineal HW title for his one year of inactivity between the Schulz and Grimsley defenses?

    Consistency is all that matters.

I will say that the WW lineal title ever since Floyd retired post-Hatton is the most heavily debatable in multiple directions of all the lineal titles (even in my opinion horrible ones like Khan/Garcia being for the vacant The Ring JWW lineal title isn't too debatable; it either was or wasn't, and if not, it was when Garcia/Matthysse happened.... same thing with the horribly contradicting and just all around lousy awarding of The Ring lineal title to the winner of YPH vs. Cunningham I). The WW lineal title, on the other hand, could have passed hands three times since then, or zero and still be vacant. Each is arguable. Some arguments make more sense than others, but hey, that is just my opinion on each scenario.

Who has Manny beat in his career that could beat Canelo right now?

Cotto is the best you can offer, but that' questionable...

And what would it mean if Canelo winds up in the top 5 p4p after Floyd retires? I mean honestly...
