When he starts losing he's gonna try every trick in the book like he always does. It's funny how much respect people give this man yet any time a fight gets tough he looks for the cowards way out. He can't face adversity, like a school yard bully once someone stands up and starts putting a whooping on him he folds like a lawn chair. He'll get hit clean to the body then flop on the ground grabbing his groin. He will lose a round then smile at the judges and start doing push ups to try to persuade them. I;ve been watching bflop for a decade I know all his tricks
Agree. That **** he pulled with Dawson was fake. He knew he was up against it and he found a way out.
What's the matter with that? Wouldn't you if you were fighting? :nut I sure as hell would, I want to win.
Yup, bhop knows his limitations more than anyone. After 1 round with dawson he was thinking "no way in hell I can beat this guy tonight "
BHOP is a champion. He is prepared to do what ever it takes to win a fight. That's called being a prize fighter.
If his opponent is not strong enough to KO Grandpa, then they are not that good :conf He is facing a titleholder so he better be good enough to KO Hopkins, otherwise Hopkins earned the W
all he does at this point is throw one punch at a time and fake low blows and lead with his head and hold clinch and grab etc. boring fighter
Hopkins has already won the fight, he has his judges, his personal referee to protect him as needed, boxing commission, he has everything his way. Remember how crooked the referee, boxing commission, judges, etc., were when Khan fought Peterson? Peterson was on roids! Hopkins will use his headbutt and get by with it, the referee will call it a cut by punch, if Hopkins gets knocked down, the referee will call it a slip, Hopkins' low blows will be to the legs, hips, balls, etc., the judge will allow it. A referee can cause a fighter to lose a fight, not to mention the judges.................
:nut Yet it was Hopkins who chased for the rematch and Dawson who tried to avoid it. People said he was avoiding Dawson yet he agreed to the fight, not once but twice. Only fighter Hopkins has refused to fight is Ward and he has clearly stated that, if he didn't want to fight Dawson he would have done the same and clearly stated it instead of fighting him twice. Hopkins is no doubt crafty and will bend the rules and manipulate the situation and the referee to his advantage. He has a mentality of doing anything to get the win, I personally admire that. Yes he's dirty but he's not as bad as many people make out, he's never bitten anyone in the ring, never worn loaded gloves, never been caught using PEDS etc. He won't need to bend to rules too much to beat Shumenov. Unless Hopkins has become shot he will win a comfortable decision. Too agile, too crafty and just too good.
Hopkins is a sly old fox, who has the ability to drown a match and make it his, so the other fighter is fighting on his pace. It's not pretty to watch, but it absolutely is a skill. :bowdown
