    To do in and around Wembley for entertainment purposes?

    A group of us will be going down there and I was just wondering if there's much entertainment around that area (or how far is the nearest city center) in terms of clubs/late night pubs etc? Is there much to do or not?

    Wembley is a dump. Best getting a cab back into London and go Camden, the angel, shoreditch. No doubt people can think of better places as well.

    This is the reason I'm not going to the fight, a dump of a suburb in North West London, no way you gonna get anywhere fast after the fight. The fight is on HBO so it'll start when the HBO exec's decide that that will be at 11pm at the very earliest for 6pm New York time. Along with 60,000 others fighting to get a cab out of nowhereville, Hearn says the tube is gonna stay open, how long will it take to clear that backlog! If it had been in Manchester I'd have got a flight from Southampton/1Hour....But Wembley???....time you eventually find yer way down to Soho it'll be last orders....Anywhere but Wembley!

    Depends what you class as entertainment, firstly get a cab out of Wembely. Shoreditch, Bricklane area Camden are popular so is Soho which is very central and has strip bars

    Ha ha, agreed. I live in Wembley and on first arriving I was shocked that such a globally famous attraction is essentially $hit housing, industrial estates and the wankest pubs ever.
    E.g. My work mates and I went on a "$hitty pb crawl" for a laugh after work, one of the ones we went in a lad ordered a JD and coke, the Thai barmaid said "Sure.." and promptly went to the offy next door to by a bottle of JD then came back and served it! You couldn't make it up!
    Cab or tube to Wembley park the head to Soho, Camden or more central if you fancy flashing the cash.

    This fight will be on at 9pm or 10pm. US tv has no say on thia fight. This fight makes enough money so no need to capture US money.


    With the 80 tickets sold I think the fight will be on for 9.

    I think we can all agree this is the number one priority. :D

    It being London getting anywhere's nigh on fkn impossible, of course. :?
