I've said it for years, and Freddie Roach just confirmed it: Bob Arum is not going to consider this fight until he feels Pacquiao is completely finished as a fighter. Then, the Bobfather will cash him out against Mayweather and let Manny get obliterated like Bob knew would happen if he let this fight happen back in 2010.

As long as Arum can secure future paydays without having Pacquiao fight Mayweather, he will. Once that well is dry, he'll sell Pacquiao to the wolves for one final pay check.

The way that Mayweather has been talking in the media recently, I doubt he’s going to sit still long enough for Pacquiao to fight two more times before he fights him. I think Mayweather wants/needs a fight with Pacquiao as soon as possible and he’s not likely going to want to wait another year or so while Pacquiao fights more of Arum’s Top Rank stable fighters.
