Tyson would be too much using his jab, head movement, and countering
ability. Tyson KO within 6. It wouldn't be easy but Mikey had the chin and
    the skill.

lennox at any point in his career would beat tyson. Tyson always had problem with taller fighters and this would be no different. Lennox by knockout in 10 instead of 8 like he did in 02. the match would be more competitive but not by much.

This is imo one of the better fantasy matchups.

You have Tyson, who for the first half of the fight will be in Lewis' face Countering off the jab, and Lewis would be getting rocked. No doubt in my mind that Tyson Takes majority of the rounds earlier and/or knocks down or knocks out Lewis.

Then on the other hand you have Lennox, yes he was caught twice and KO'd by some big punches from inferior punchers, and I do think the McCall fight was stopped a tad bit early, but that's besides the point. Given that Lewis manages to survive the first half of the fight, maybe winning a round or 2 he would have control of the second half of the fight. When The fight lasts to long Tyson begins to fade and fast. He seems to enjoy getting clinched to slow the pace, not to mention his head movement gets far weaker, and his explosiveness goes out the window. And in this case, unlock Bonecrusher, you have Lennox who is not going to be found leaning forward and giving up his height, he will not give up on his jab, and he would pick Tyson apart as he is a much better offensive fighter than Bonecrusher and would capitalize on Tyson's fatigue, winning majority of Late rounds, or knocking Tyson down and possibly out. I'm gonna vote draw, because this matchup is to close to call a winner.

I disagree. Tyson from 2002 was shell of himself, not only his skill has diminished, but he was overweight and his stamina was like ****.

Now, Tyson from '88 could've easily gone 12 rounds. He had no stamina issues back then.

Tyson had beaten many tall fighters in 86-89 - Tucker, Smith, Green, Ribalta.
And though they were not in Lewis' league, Mike showed that he could deal with tall boxers.

So if Lewis wins, he won't stop prime 1988 Tyson, to KO Mike Lewis has to dominate from early rounds which is unlikely.

Lemmie is no conditioning wonder and if in fact he would survive the first half he would have plenty of wear and tear on him, so the likelyhood of him suddenly making a 180 is slim to none.

Lennox did not have late KO's over quality opponents.

Lennox has never gotten up from a knock down....once he is down he stays down.

Lennox is suspect to bodypunches, lol, his trunks were pulled to the nipples..

Most likely scenerio, Lewis fights cautiously and gets outhustled by Tyson to a UD loss.

If he comes out a la Golata and willing to trade he will be counted out.

Tyson has never lost a fight when his was in control of the first half of the fight.

Tyson can take Lewis's best a few times, if Lennox catches a flush shot from Tyson its over.

I am convinced that Lewis would fight super safe like against Holyfield and either get caught early or looses thru the stretch.

Remember, even when he faced the total washed up dope addict Tyson he played it very safe, even Stewart screamed at him to get the dead man out of here. Lennox was not playing any games or prolonging the fight, he was simply scared to get caught with something big, so he literally probed and probed until he knew that Tyson could not even fire back if he wanted too.

Yes. Tyson fought and beat fighters with better jabs Thomas, Tucker, Bruno
Biggs etc. Almost impossible to KO a prime focused Tyson unless you
inflict a prolonged and sustained beating. 88 Mike was a 12 round fighter 2002 Mike was a 1-3 round fighter. Lewis too gunshy, and has flaws in terms of balance gets countered eventually.

Tyson would have caught him, and put him away within 6. He had the footspeed, and reflexes at that point to close the distance, and reach Lewis' chin.

Lennox would knock him out late:yep

Lennox had the size, skill, reach to get past the first 4 rounds when Tyson was the most dangerous, and Tyson was an ordinary fighter after 6 rounds and even sometimes looked bored in long fights, that would lead to his downfall..

Tyson never had good stamina for a long hard tough fight, and fighting a man that much bigger and taller than him would have worn his ass out quick..

Eh, same thoughts as before. Some early excitement but Lewis smothers Mike whenever he gets hurt and survives. Lewis takes the late rounds behind his jab and some timely uppercuts, securing the decision.

Lewis never scored a late knockout his whole career, if you are still standing by 8, he isn't going to get rid of you.

Even Lewis admitted on his twitter last week that he would have lost.

    really?

its very uncharacteristic of Lewis to do that, especially seeing he did an interview a few years back saying he would have beat Tyson at any point of their careers
