Mayweather has demonstrated he has enough power to keep people honest. Also his accuracy adds to the impact of each punch.

Pacquiao has only 2 KO/TKOs in his past 10 fights, including a loss by knockout.

    Is it because he's feather-fisted?

Or is it because he doesn't go for the kill and just tries to run out the clock and win by dull decision? You know, because he's scared to be KTFO6?

    Idiot.....

Pacquiao is a blown-up flyweight. He was knocking people out until he started fighting men much bigger than himself.

Mayweather is a big welterweight. He could KO other men his own size, but he's afraid to try (unless he sees the chance for a sucker punch, like against Ortiz).

The simple answer: He doesn't have to.
WHy put yourself at further risk when you dominate and break your opponents will?

    No, you're failing. :patsch

Pacquiao started at 106, and won his first title at Flyweight 112.

Mayweather started at Junior Lightweight 130 and grew into a big welterweight. He's a MUCH bigger man than Manny. He could KO his opponents but is too chicken-hearted to even try, unless he sees the chance for a sucker punch.

He needs to keep his hands soft for Ellerbe?

What did each of them weigh in their last bout?

And BTW -- Manny went profoessional at the age of 16, Mayweather 18. Take a look at what division Mayweather was fighting in the amateurs when he was 16 and get back to us.

Troll Harder. You're such an epic failure it is hilarious. You can't even troll right! I would imagine you're not much of a success in real life either. :rofl

Floyd won't try for a KO against Maidana.

    He doesn't take risks.

He's fighting in his 5th weightclass. To expect him to be KO'ing everyone is just illogical.

When you move up just 1 weight class, there's a considerable amount of difference as far as the opposition's punch resistance to your shots. To move up 5 weight classes and think they can just KO people left and right is just silly.

i will say though, he keeps his opponents honest and I truly believe he'd have more KO's on his resume at the higher weights if he exhibited that same killer instinct and took unnecessary chances that he had when campaigning at 130 lbs.

people forget that by the time he fought Diego, he was around 30 or 31-0 and had over 65% of his wins coming from KO. He wasn't a one punch KO artist, but he could get the KO win over guys at the lighter weights.

i don't think it's a lack of a killer instinct at the higher weights, rather he just doesn't want to put himself in harms way trying to finish guys he has stunned when he knows they could come back with some desperate counterpunch that could end up hurting him.
