So the Academy has decided to give out awards at the begining of 2015 for boxers that go beyond just athletics and give a great acting performance as well. The rules are as following: Performances MUST take place between Jan 1. 2014 and December 31 2014. Award will be given for that time period in March. Here are the following categories: Best Bum in a Dive Best Faked Injury Most faked confidence when he knew he actually had no chance Best fake showing the will to fight someone but in reality your ducking them Best supporting Actor (ONLY REFEREES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS AWARD.) Most Blatantly Fixed Fight Now I KNOW its only April but I want us to start considering these now because we gotta give the talent the recognition they deserve. So far the only real standout that for sure will be nominated is Best Bum in a Dive: Malik Scott I'm open to suggestions though! Lets give this A list acting talent the attention and praise they deserve! :happy
hopkins vs dawson I no way he was hurt....his fake grimacing was pretty bad acting....all this talk of a dislocated shoulder and no one ever saw anything from a dr concerning it
Thats a good one. Others that come to mind for fake injuries would be: Broner vs Maidana (Headbutt didn't have Broner hurt that bad) Hopkins vs JOnes (The rabid punch didnt effect hopkins as much as he acted)
