Where is it? Lol Anyone have a gif or video catching this counter that Briggs 'wobbled' Vitali with? I sure as hell didn't see Vitali hurt in that fight.

That's what I'm wondering to. Only time Vits was visibly hurt was against Sanders and Lewis. Other than that no one has really hurt him.

Its in the 11th round. A short right hook. I didnt wobble Vitali, but it caught his attention. By the way, Shannons left bicep looks messed up when you watch the fight. Why on earth did he go one with just one hand? Briggs just took too much punishment.

Briggs himself claimed this in recent interviews. A couple of times. "In the 10th I hit him with a right hand, wobbled him! If I had two hands to work with, I would have knocked him out cold."

Yes sir, I do remember that punch. Pretty sharp shot. But in no way did it wobble Vitali. So I searched for a shot in that fight that looked like it even in the slightest, hurt Vitali. Didn't find one.

Fighters like to lie or exaggerate about things in the ring. Or just make excuses.

Foreman claims he was gonna knock out Ali but got distracted by his friend in the audience who was rooting for Ali. Fighters work in milliseconds, you mean to tell me he had the time to look at his friend in the audience and read his lips to see he was cheering for Ali?

Holyfield says he was gonna about to knockout Bowe when Fan Man came down...anyone watching could see that Bowe was having an excellent 7th round up to that point, after having lost the 5th and 6th (although Bowe finished the wrong strong).

Shane said he had Winky holding on for dear life, Duran has 10 excuses and exaggerations for every loss or poor performance.

Green man, Vaseline, poison, my mom gave me a mean look, my toe, bad shellfish, I was robbed (after losing 8 or 9 rounds), the IRS beat me, cocaine, hookers, cheap socks, no socks, conspiracy, the ref has a gambling issue.....

Taking a boxer at their word after a loss should be taken with not a grain, but more like a gallon of salt.

True. Or Foreman saying he was basically "Planning the whole thing" regarding the ass whooping Moorer was giving him before the knockout. (Though I believe that more than the Ali excuse.) Moorer's reaction to Foreman's claim about just baiting him, and eating jabs and straight lefts was all part of the plan... "BULL****"

Haha, the only thing wobbling around in that fight was Briggs' brain inside his cranium after every clubbing punch from V.K. Briggs is a heavy bag with legs.

Agreed. "This is by far the best fighter I've fought" -Briggs right after the fight with Vitali. "He's Top 10 in what?? Cricket? Chess? phhft! I would have knocked him out if I hadn't hurt my bicep."-Briggs in a recent interview. Basically dismissing Vitali as a great fighter.

I actually believe that. I think Foreman had been trying to time him the whole fight but just kept falling short till the tenth. Admittedly he come off a bit absurd about it, but I actually believe him, it was his only chance.
