Does anyone know why rigo hasn't moved up? After beating donaire I thought he would have. I've heard he doesn't want to but not sure why

no Rigo has the WBA super belt, one champion per organisation

Christ some really stupid people on ESB, how hard is it to understand, Rigo, LSC and Kiko are world champions, if Frampton beats LSC he is WBC champion, not "regular" champion, 4 governing bodies to be world champion in, but you must be rated as number 1 in the governing body to be the world champion. That's my view therefore only possible to have 4 world champions at a time, 3 at SBW since Rigo has WBA and WBO

Rigo is very very small, it's a struggle to make the weight he fights at at the moment nvr mind moving up after that

I don't think moving up would open up anymore options neither...

Ppl have left the division to get away from him so they wouldn't fight him if he moves up and gives weight away ala Abnar Mares

I think Doniare said he'd only fight him again if he moves up and Rigo said that basically just giving away an advantage

And no, no one who holds the WBA regular belt should be considered a world champion

I just think it's funny the way Quigg and smoking Joe shout from the roof tops about being a world champion but if they actually wanted to prove they are the WBA belt holder they would be calling out Rigo yet I've nvr hear Rigos name come out of either of their mouths...

Stating u are not a world champ unless ur are the man in the division is plain stupid btw, r u gonna say only the Ring Mag champ in the division is a world champ? Although they r bias these days their champs in each division r pretty spot on

I treat Quigg like a football club in the top 4 of the Premier League. A top 4 place is worthy and highly lucrative, but it does not include a trophy

Whereas when Rigo's team offered to come to Belfast Frampton's team jumped at the chance right? Did they ****. Every champion at this weight division is a joke. They are ALL running from Rigo.

By definition Quigg is a world title claimant, but genuine World Champion? Few are in this era, not least because there are ironically, too many world title claimants!

Rigid team offered to come to Belfast because they can't get any big fights, Martinez Refused to give frampton a rematch and then frampton went down the WBC route where he is now mandatory and fighting for a world title which could also be in Belfast. And your giving out because he wants to fight lsc before rigo ? He isn't a bullshiter who says he wants to fight the top guys and does everything in his power to then avoid them he has said before that he isn't ready for rigo. Lsc is a good title holder so it isn't as if his refusing to fight rigo so he can take on a bum

I never even thought of that before, it's pretty funny.

I don't mind ten world champs/organisations per weight - we all usually know who the real deal is - but when you have the second class belt-holder in an organisation calling himself a world champ, it's just ridiculous. No slur on Quigg, he's obviously a world class super-bantamweight.

Wow the Frampton love in on here is getting ridiculous. It's ok for Frampton to say he's not ready for rigo but quigg is a ducker? Let's get it right there's absolutely nothing between them in terms of resume thus far...they both have it all to prove. In an ideal world they'd face each other first but let me guess.. Frampton has moved on to bigger and better things now?
