i think this would be a pretty good match up. i remember when ruddock was a huge star before his fight with lewis with his self made punch the "smash" and his two fights with mike tyson. ruddock was such a star that he may have been tyson's greatest win(s) in his career. however, rahman has immense strength (a power lifter formally i think) and he did beat lennox lewis which is no easy task.

    who would win?

I think it'd be pretty close on the scorecards until Rahman lands that huge right hand

    Rahman KO in the 7th

Razor would have knocked the **** outta Rachman, who was essentially a trash fighter who got lucky on a night where Lewis had trained for about a week.

    Rachman sucked.

Ruddock KO 6, and it would be brutal.

Rahman was an average fighter that did get lucky against Lewis and he would of found ruddocks smash would had him looking up at the ring lights after an entertaining contest

Ruddock by stoppage anywhere from the 4th to the 7th

Getting lucky against an all time great is better than never coming close to beating one. Hasim also had some good scraps with David Tua and Corrie sanders.. I might favor Ruddock but it'd be nothing to bank on.

Quirky matchup, both guys were inconsistent, but i think Ruddock could take Rahmans punch, better than Rahman could take Ruddocks...

I would go with Ruddock, one thing for sure i doubt this one goes to the cards...

Rahman beat prime versions of Lewis, Tua and Sanders.

Ruddock beat a very long in the tooth Bonecrusher and Dokes.

Who is the trash fighter here?

Yeah, Rahman had a very shaky chin, and Ruddock would exploit that - brutally. As others have said, we're really talking about two different levels of fighter here, a top level contender, and a mediocre journeyman who got lucky.

Ruddock SHATTERS Rahman's glass jaw within a round or two.
