Remember in the Haye buildup people right here on this forum kept claiming Wlad "will have to fight Haye, because he is lacking a defining fight" and I kept asking people how do you know Haye is that defining fight. He probably will disappear into oblivion after being beat by Wlad. And look what happened.

The value of a fighter's scalp is not known until many years after.

    Did Holmes beat Tyson?
    Did Ali beat Holmes?
    Did Liston beat Ali?
    Did Louis beat Marciano?

No great loses to the shot version of the past era's champion. He took the test and failed. Wlad never even took the test but he proved beyond all doubt that it never took a great fighter to beat him. And unlucky for him he never beat any HOF or great fighter to redeem himself.
He just looked like crap against every high ranker he ever fought.

Chris Byrd beat a Hall of Famer and most likely a future Hall of Famer.

So did Larry Donald and Sultan Ibragminov.

I'd say Hasim Rahman is the most likely to get into the hall of fame.

    32-0-0-0 (KO 32) WBC Champion = HOF

So Wlad only hope at improving his legacy is walking into the eye of the storm...or maybe he just wants to retire healthy :conf

I think David Haye is a HOF'er at Cruiserweight.

If Wilder becomes WBC champ by beating the Arreola/Stiverne winner than that is probably the best we will get.

Wilder will break a new world record, becoming the highest KO ratio world champion

Currently Valero holds that record at 27-0-0-0 (KO 27)

Of course I want Wlad vs Wilder to happen, cause that simply puts Wilder a right hand away from becoming an instant ATG :deal

Wilder WBC 32-0-0-0 (KO 32) is the greatest name on Wlad resume...Win or Lose he gets lots of respect of daring to step in the ring...Wilder also becomes the first Undisputed champ since Lennox Lewis and becones an instant ATG eternally silencing his foamy mouthed detractors :verysad
