    Everyone doesnt think that at all :lol::patsch.

    Calzaghe was a clear winner, who was able to land his left more than Hopkins could land his right.
    I have tried to see where people are coming from saying they think Hopkins had it, and given rounds to Hopkins and still found Calzaghe to be a winner. The only thing Hopkins fans grab onto is the boxrec that it was a SD, if it had of been the same fight and a UD, I do not think there would be anyone questioning it.
    Clear Calzaghe victory that Hopkins fans should be proud of, for what he has gone on to achieve after members of his team felt he should retire after the way Calzaghe beat him

    Mr Calzaghe's performances are very appreciated by the real boxing fans. Going in US and beating 2 ATG american fighters is pretty much insane !

    As the TS said : 'Calzaghe became a legit LEGEND when he beat 5 men that night, Hopkins, Joe Cortez, and the three judges that Golden Boy has in their pocket.'

    :good:clap::clap:

    Calzaghe won comfortably on my card, but it was'nt because he was "to good," it was because he was to fast for old Bernard.

    Lets face it, for years now Hopkins has beat up on fighters on par or slower than he is. He was allways troubled by speed, much more in his later years that he's gotten older.

    For those who think that beating an old legend makes them great, lets remember that Jermaine Taylor (not a great) also used speed to beat one Bernard Hopkins.

    I gave the first 6 to Bhops plus the knockdown and other 6 to Joe outhustling and dominating Hopkins. A draw would of been fair. Joe proved he was a freak of nature too. He went Raging Bull on Hopkins slapping him to submission . Will matched skill clearly here. Who knows if it woulda gone 15 tho. But looks like Joe might of won clear, but you never know.

    I don't know why people over exaggerate this fight. It was an ugly, boring shitty fight. The only thing mildly entertaining about it was Joe humping Hopkins.

    I do agree that Joe won though.

    yep calzaghe took Hopkins heart.

    that's why Hopkins retired pretty soon after and people pick his career apart, while calzaghe is still kicking butt at the age of 50
