I think Eubank's brain starts missing a few neurons...

James Toney made this Gimp cry on national TV and told the audience the truth.

"There are no fighters in England. They are all bums, and I'm knocking out all bums".

Eubank is not so dumb as to step in the ring with James Toney or he would have received a serious ass whupping.
Toney made the boy cry and then Eubank spent the rest of his career ducking Toney.

Big fan of Eubank but I honestly can't think of a person who's in love with the sound of their own voice more than he is. I bet his bedroom walls are adorned with regal looking portraits of himself and he listens to recordings of himself talking to help him doze off to sleep at night.

Actually, scratch that. I can think of someone who loves the sound of their own voice more than him, and it's a boxer too - Bernard Hopkins. Hopkins doesn't just love hearing the sound of his own voice, he also feels the need to constantly remind us all how great he is all the time.

Eubank likes to talk, but when he was taking that verbal lashing from Toney on national TV he was as quiet as a church mouse.
Toney called him a bum and said he'd fight Eubank and Nunn on the same night.

Eubank had nothing to say, and couldn't hold back the tears as he wept like a little English bytch.
"That mean man Boo-hoo, he talked about me Mum. I can't take this, Booo-hoooo". and the water works just flowed.

Funny thing is, Toney said that when not face to face with the fighters and while Eubank and Benn were preparing for a unification showdown, in one of the biggest SMW fights ever, I think Toney was getting ready to fight Pranther! Said it all there when you look at who Benn and Eubank fought and then look at Toneys SMW resume.
Eubank and Benn fought and beat top SMWs and Toney didnt do anything at SMW. I guess the saying about empty vessels came apparent over that time

    Er no son,

I remember when Toney was interviewed in the US and both Chris and Nigel were in the UK.

They both just looked at each other to say who is this idiot. I doubt their opinions have changed.

Both Chris and Nigel are doing pretty well. James is broke, obese and punch drunk.

They were face to face on national TV.
Who's the greater of the three; Benn, Eubank or Toney?

Toney is > than Eubank & Benn combined.

This is the fight game. Talking smack is a part of the game, but Eubank started crying on national TV when Toney verbally abused him.

I have respect for Ben, but Eubank is a wimp of the first order.

In that famous scene Eubank said in response to Toney that he felt he was a very ignorant person, and that's about as close to trash-talking as Eubank ever got. Eubank didn't do trash-talking, it wasn't his style.

Acting as if Toney got some kind of victory over Eubank in this regards is grasping at straws, considering that Toney's always had a big mouth and has made an art form out of insulting other fighters and rambling incoherantly about things while Eubank's whole stick was about being a snob who looked down on that kind of stuff and didn't so it.

LOL. Acting as if Eubank isn't a trash talker and lip-lab falls short on credibility as we read all the nonsense what he has to say above.
Eubank is one of those wimps who can dish it out but can't take it.

It's one thing to respond that Toney is ignorant, but then to follow that up by actually crying at what the bad man said. LMAO!!

"Talking smack" is one part of the game used to build up anticipation for potential fights. It is not inherantly required of every fighter who ever lived. It is not a vital part of it and its doesn't make a fighter better if he does it.

Eubank has a big ego and he talks a lot of crap, but he doesn't insult other fighters, he always has a good word to say about everyone even people who beat him and people he didn't like back in his active years.

He never had the wit to be trash talker. His thing was being a snob, acting like some kind of toff looking down on boxing and other boxers, while claiming he was the greatest and getting people to hate him so they'd pay to see him get beat up.

    You comparing apples to oranges.

Toney was getting ready to face Tony Thornton who arguably beat Eubank.
