Bernard Hopkins vs. Beibut Shumenov & Peter Quillin vs. Lukas Konený RBR

If he gives one last great performance it could get very interesting, Lucas is one tough mother****er and it's always been his dream to win a world title so regardless of the circumstances I hold out that he's going in there to give it his all and I reckon he will shock Peter Quillin who has barely seen him fight before

 

Sorry, until something more official comes out, Im not buying that they're allowing an unfit fighter to fight, especially when the guy is essentially just an opponent to get beaten by Quillin.

They could have chosen a bunch of other fighters, at the standard of Konecny who had 2 good eyes, and not risk the absolute **** storm that would occur if he got badly hurt.

This big promotional company is trying to give Quillin an easy fight after his life and death with Rosado.

We better hope nothing happen to Konecny, because if something does happen, it will be on Golden Boy. The warning signs are there and we're not going to look back in hindsight and say...well, maybe the fight wasn't a good idea.

But I'm telling people now. Regardless of the outcome, this fight is not a good idea and shouldn't have been made. Konecny is undersize, over the hill and has vision problems. Quillin has a 4 inch height advantage and many others.

This fight should be a walk in the park. I'm just hoping for quick KO, so Konecny doesn't get injured.

The point isn't that Konecy is a big name, it's that he is a lamb to slaughter because of the mentioned factors (past it, blown-up, can't see) and Quillin will be able to likely drop and/or stop him and get undue credit for it, looking beastly, and people can point to Konecny having a not-so-bad resume and say "Wow, he was never stopped or dropped before..."

Quillin won't deserve any credit.
