I've been a Paulie fan since the Cotto fight, but this was a terrible matchup for him from the get-go and I'm not surprised this is how it played out.

Porter reminds me a bit of Marco Huck and Kirkland, but I think he's got a level of patience above the caveman archetypes. You better have some firepower to keep that dude off of you or else you're in for a long, long night.

 

Even Gabriel Rosado in the stands was like "damn!"

 

All very well leaping to Paulie's backing up jabs but it'll be a different story if Porter leaps into a Brook right hand! It'll cut that aggression in half straight away. Bookies will no doubt favour Shawn and rightly so but this is no blueprint for a Brook fight.

 

Paulie needs to retire, after being stopped like that, he just clumped onto the floor.

He lacks power and the speed goes what can he do?
