    Round 12

Shumenov is waving up his jab. Hopkins pot shots with the lead right, snapping the head of Shumenov back. Lead right by Shumenov, dinging Hopkins up high on the skull. Hopkins pulls his left jab up the length of his body and quickly snakes it out into Shumenov's face with a deceptively quick jab. Shumenov is jabbing at the chest but Hopkins twists and takes it on the bicep, jutting out his bottom lip in defiance. Shumenov flops in and clinches. Hopkins ducks a left hook, grazing the back of his head. Hopkins climbs up Shumenov with taps on the shoulders and ties up. Left hook by Shumenov, caught on the arm. Hopkins slips a couple of jabs, cradling the left against his stomach and swirling his upper body around drunkenly. Left hook lead by Hopkins, wrapping the arm around Shumenov and spinning him. Break ordered. Left hook, right hand by Shumenov, missing as Hopkins ducks and throws his arms up in the air.

    10-9 Hopkins

    118-109 Hopkins

Whatever about the fight but Bhop is a legend and an inspiration even though Shuminov is terrible to compete at a high level at close to 50 is just insane, The man really is an Alien and it will be weird when he actually does retire for good.
