Impressive that he's gone up that high.

That's not that impressive. Many MW champs have done that past and present and even gone up higher.
His resume is very impressive though.

    Incorrect.

Bernard started out as a light heavy weight, lost his first fight, disappeared for a while, then came back as a middleweight.

I sense Cap using some irony here. I ought to know. I am the Irony Himmler of ESB. Which isn't this site but another one.

    BHOP has come full circle.

His first fight mismatched him with a LHW and he lost.

Now he's taking out his vengence on all LHWs.

His contemporaries Jones Jr, and Toney moved up to heavyweight. It's impressive, but it's been done before. Other middleweights who went up to light heavy or beyond: Harry Greb, Ray Robinson, Mickey Walker, Dick Tiger, Jake LaMotta, Stanley Ketchel, Bob Fitzsimmons, Sam Langford, Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Archie Moore, etc.

    Good list.

    Not Leonard, though.
