has there been a fighter in the past that was self-trained like shumenov?...what cracked me up was after round 1 when the graphic for hopkin's showed trainer: nazeem richardson and shumenov's showed trainer: self:nut well all i can say is that after tonight, shumenov is definitely gonna think twice about getting a trainer for his corner...

i mean the guy sure has guts, opting not to have a trainer for this big a fight...

More money, because trainer isn't taking cut of it.

    Shumenov was trained by Hopkins.

He probably could've won a major world title if he'd had a trainer.

He was like a statue. Dropped straight back, easy to hit. I can see why Campillo owned him. For some reason he seems to get judges support when he in no way deserves it.

He needs a trainer. Every fighter does. He would do better, but he is still not top level.

and most of you people dont think cotto not having a trainer for the paq fight was no big deal.
he inserted one of his friends in the trainer role. lol all he did was workout to get to 145 at a time he desperately needed to move up.

but thats paq biggest win. lmfao
