Confirmed by himself on last week's event.

Very great move imo for his career. We'll see how he does vs the mean punchers in Porter/Thurman etc. Alexander, Paulie (If he doesn't retire), and finally Mayweather

He has ABSOLUTELY nothing more to prove at 140. Lineal champion, and beat the man everyone expected to clean his clock. He was a 4-1 underdog. Amir Khan (He was 6-1 underdog), Zab, Holt, Herrera, Morales x2. It's a crazy resume to have at his age

    War Garcia!

His dad is not to keen for him to go up and I agree with him I like Danny I think he should have few more fights at 140 before going up judging on his last fight I was not impressed.

He's going to 47 100% after next fight.

He really has nothing more to prove.

That'll open up a couple of belts.

If one were to think about it, you could almost say, this was pre planned by Haymon/GBP

Broner moves down to 140, Garcia moves up to 147 and Broner slips in to fight for a 140 belt without having to fight his stablemate.

    hmmmmm

Personally I think Danny would not do well at 147 I hope I am wrong I just don't see him beating the guys at welter.

No one thought he would beat anyone good at LWW either.

He proved them all wrong. 6-1 underdog vs Khan, 4-1 underdog vs Matthysse.

Most of the boxing world thought Khan and Matthysse would knock his ass out in 3 rounds.

He was even an underdog vs Morales 1 I believe.

Yes but Danny now is starting to become the favorite since his big wins and I think that could be a game changer as well but I hope danny and his father make the right moves and not rush him.

Danny said that **** as an excuse for gettin beat by Herrera. Done at 140? Right when provodnikov about to be free from under arum hahaha. He gets crushed at 147. Porter thurman floyd maidana Alexander all those guys beat him not mention PAC n brad. Ruslan crushes him at 140 if he gots the balls.

    :-((

    He clearly beat Herrera 7-5.

Provodnikov will be Arum's slave for years to come, don't bank on it. HBO/GBP Feud as well.

He'll be saying toodles to the 140 division after he crushes his next opponent. :hi:

For bigger and better things @ 47. Way bigger paydays/way bigger fights :).

Well the difference is Provo is proven and is a world champion.

Beating the very scary Mike Alvarado?

Fact: Matthysse would have won and become a world champion beating Lamont but he was completely shadied by the 141 catchweight.

Fact: Matthysse was/is a better fight than Provodnikov. He was unanimous known as the scariest puncher in the division and a man who everyone would duck. He was also predicted by almost everyone to knock Garcia out in 3 rounds.

    Garcia tapped that ass.

Matthyse was far more "proven" than Provo. He had fought a lot more big fights.

The only reason Matthyse didn't have a belt was because of a slight of hand by the promoters to have the fight against Peterson at 141.

    :rofl:deal

There were at least 5 threads a day telling us how Matthysse was scaring the bejeebies out of everyone, how Garcia would not sign the contract, how he would knock Garcia out in 3 rounds.

    :rofl:rofl:lol::lol::patsch:patsch
