Probably Roland LaStarza. Difference is C0ckell was just a contender where as Wlad is a long standing champion and ATG. I'm not quite sure what you're getting at with this comparison.

 

How are they gonna be an ATG if they keep getting cleaned out? When Ali was top of the game, he had to leave to let guys like Frazier, Norton and Foreman make a name for themselves. When he finally got back he could beat them and it meant more than if he would have beaten them whilst they were mandatories.

That or let them win and beat them in a rematch so it creates a rivalry. Wlad maybe too good for his own good.
