Floyd won't ever fight porter ever trust me ... Here why

porter needs to fight thurman if he wanted a floyd fight. his fights with diaz and alexander made me pump the brakes on him. and him stopping paulie aint make me take my foot off the brakes yet. he's a good fighter but i think a boxer puncher like thurman would be hell for him. porter aint run through devon either but he did beat him though. hes in my top 5 ww but not 1,2 or 3. i leave it at that.

 

Why? I don't get it. He's a young, undefeated champion who has the style to make an interesting fight with Mayweather.

He better fight Porter, given the fact that Porter is a free agent w/ GBP ties.

If he fights Khan next, should Khan defeat Collazo.. people need to start waking up and smelling the coffee, they're being hustled out of potentially great matchups.

 

James Kirkland has an awful Glass Jaw. KOing him is nothing special.

 

I will bump this if the fights get signed and Showtime gets dominated. I like Porter, but he has nothing for FMJ imo

 

For Porter to drop a 200lbs Kirkland in sparring, is no easy feat.

But then again, Kirkland goes down more than a cheap meth riddled prostitute.

I'm just amazed at how Porter makes 147lbs easily, considering he fought in the amateurs at 165lbs.

 

I don't know about that. The man can't take a punch, but there's no punk in him. Angulo hit him with everything but the kitchen sink. He couldn't KO Kirkland though and ended up taking a serious beating.

 

yea but they all say that. i just cant get the devon and diaz fights out of my head. he did good vs paulie but thats paulie, why is everyone skipping over thurman. porter has to PROVE IT, dare to be great. but i guess you beat the magic man so you get a floyd fight :-(

he should have to fight thruman as well because not you just making it to easy.
and floyd aint gone get the credit for beating the guy after the fight anyways. so make some real noise and earn the fight.

 

I'd be interested in how much he weighed in the ring against Paulie.

 

Folks, you have no say over floyds opponents, do you understand this?

 

I know they sparred with bigger gloves and headgear. I was just making the point that Kirkland is a tough guy.
