Mayorga BRUTALIZED & KTFO an undefeated, top p4p boxer in Forrest with his unorthodox Looping overhand right...

Could Maidana land that same akward looping overhand right and KO Floyd?

Forrest was no where nearly as complete as PBF. Not only that he tried to bang it out with Mayorga instead of boxing him. PBF won't get dragged into a war like that. With that said the looping overhand right is a great punch against the shoulder roll and will be Maidana's best hope in this fight.

I think Maidana puts up a better performance than we think. He throws wild looping punches like you said and i have always thought that if anyone drops or KO's mayweather it will be from a looping wild punch. I think Maidana will trouble mayweather in the opening rounds until Mayweather adjusts and works him out.

yeah I could see it happening

after all Ortiz was able to push and bully him on the ropes with ease I think Maidana will do the same and on top of that he will throw powerful multiple shots (as he did with Broner)

let's see that shoulder roll against these wild shots I think it won;t hold that many seconds

Oh man, this old myth again, about how Ortiz supposedly had Mayweather on his heels  A concept people don't seem to grasp around here is "EFFECTIVE aggression," you can always spot a novice, they get excited over completely ineffective flurries. Mayweather was quite easily avoiding the flurries, was never flustered, and was counting Ortiz over and over with hard rights. People acting like Mayweather was pinned against the ropes against his will is quite hilarious, for Floyd doesn't mind fighting off the ropes at all, he happens to be quite brilliant at it.

no. he earned this shot and he's going to get paid but he's going to be totally outclassed in the process.

Ortiz didn't win a round and was so frustrated at his inability to launch a successful attack on PBF that he headbutted. Log off.

Boxing novices always make dumb posts like the guy you quoted. It's funny to spot them.

well what I'm saying is not that Ortiz was landing anything massive but that he got him pushed to the ropes Floyd was unable to prevent this.

now, Maidana will do the same and what he will achieve there remains to be seen (watch some Broner highlights to get an idea) - this is what we;re talking here will the overhand damage Floyd? I think so he will have trouble seeing those uppercuts, overhands that Maidana will unleash; Floyd's only chance is to run for 12 rounds you can't defend that kind of attacks

Ortiz was an example of Floyd being pushed to the ropes and nothing else so maybe you who have a reading problem should log off instead of me no?
