He should move if he wants the competition. The world doesn't revolve around him. No point complaining about fights he wants if he isn't willing to do something about it. If he moves and then doesn't get the fights, then he has something to complain about.

Well then that only leaves Ward seeing as Chavez is about to defect.

Krusher may be one of these rare breeds these days and actually appreciate what his promoter(Duva) and HBO has done for him.
A lesson for all the ingrates who try to bolt after years of hard work by their promoters.
Eg.-Ward,Stevenson,Chavez,Guerrero,to name just a few of these hypocrites.

If I was part of Main Events and really was tryin to protect Sergey I would immediately press HBO to create an avenue to fight such and such fighters or else Kovalev might start to negotiate with a diferent network. Leave both lines wide open.

Did he not fight Dawson, what exactly are insinuating? Sure he said he won't fight Ward but it has nothing to do with him being afraid of Ward.

If he wants to make the most of his boxing career and leave behind the best possible legacy, he would switch over to Showtime.

Well, then why make such a big deal of saying he will never fight Ward literally 5 minutes after his own fight while still in the ring and clearly doing it in front of the HBO crew and cameras. I don't think it's "because they're buddies!"

Dawson tried to fight Hopkins for years when he was champ to no avail and when they did fight, Hopkins "hurt" his shoulder five minutes into the fight and couldn't continue. lol Hopkins then only fought Dawson in the rematch after he was threatened with losing his belt. So yeah, he fought him but look at the circumstances. Hopkins flat out said he wouldn't fight Ward yet he calls out Mayweather for a fight at 160. I don't think any pro fighter is frightened of another fighter but let's say Hopkins knows his limitations.

Fighters will still duck him regardless of where he goes.

Some people make it sound so easy to just "ditch" someone. Kovalev is 31 years old and he doesn't have time to waste on fighting with promoters.

Ward and Guerrero has been fighting with their promoters and where did that get them? Inactive and wasting their primes away. When is Mikey Garcia going to fight again?

Kovalev ain't got no time to chase these ducks around or fight with his promoter, who did an amazing job if you recall how he became such a force at 175 in just one years time.

Yes, ditch the promoter who took a chance on him and gave him the platform to become what he is today, after being turned down by virtually every other promoter out there. Legit advice guys.

Kovalev was Bhop #1 contender after Sergei toasted Campillo and White.

He tried like hell to get that fight, but Bhop had a voluntary allowed in which he was trying to get Beibut, but instead fought Murat.

Sergei was in nowhere land until Cleverly said in effect, since BHop wont fight me, and he won't fight you either, let's get it on.

Guess Nate had more balls than brains, whereas Roidnard is obviously the EXACT opposite.:deal:deal:deal

    As to the OP.......

Bhop will beat Stevenson, then lose to Pascal in the LHW tournament.

Pascal will come out of the tournament, King of LHWs and the world will once again know Showtime is boasting a chicken king.:deal:deal:deal
