So would you rather have chicken legs so you never spring into a punch. Dont be a ****ing idiot. Floyd would kill to have the legs PAC has. His lack of leg strength is the major reason he is an average puncher.

Answer is a resounding no. Pac would have to avoid Duran and stay at the lower weights, as he wouldn't be near the top at welter. If Pac were to say fight Pryor that would be an interesting match up, they have similar styles, both are offense but they're not great defensively.

Floyd would do better, but he's also a bigger fighter. He'd likely lose to Duran, SRL, Hearns and Hagler, but might beat Benetiz and perhaps Pryor. But like Pac, he'd have to fight at the lower weights if he wanted a title. But as long as Duran's at 135 or 140 I don't think either of them are beating him.

Both guys walk around at their fighting weight so don't think it would make much of a diffrence on the acual night.

The thing is that skills win fights not just pure strength, speed or size. If you don't know how and when to use your attributes they will serve you little to nothing.

The thing is its not just the weights its the height difference the reach difference all that comes under "the size difference"

Haha I remember when me, Pacquiao and Floyd all went to the Tailors to get our suits fitted for my mates wedding. Floyd had his suit fitted and for a laugh he told Pacquiao to try it on, Pacquiao was instantly smothered in Floyd's massive suit and it took 3 whole days for the search team to finally find him, somewhere around the left elbow area. Anyway, we were all late for the wedding and most of the cake was gone when we got there.

He's an inch and a half taller, with longer arms. That's not how it works and you know it man.

“Ever since I watch Floyd Mayweather he gives you a defense where he locks up. And a lot of the time obviously it works for Floyd. Floyd is very hard to hit, regardless of the fact. But I always thought that somebody with fast hands – that throws punches in bunches and throws them in flurries – might not land on Floyd – because he locks up so well – he has the ability to leave Floyd there.”

“And what I mean by that is, move your hands, step out, you leave him there. Throw punches, step out. Before you know it, Floyd, if he’s giving you all this, he never gets the chance to get back off. Because you’re in and out. And that costs you rounds. Through the course of Mayweather’s career, he’s always been faster than most of his opponents. But the fast guys that he did fight did show glimpses of it. Oscar showed glimpses of that. Zab Judah showed glimpses of that – that you can do that to Floyd. The problem is you very rarely will hit him clean. So I think these guys get frustrated and get away from that. But in the meantime, what they don’t realize is that they’re probably winning rounds because Floyd is not getting off. Pacquiao doesn’t have to change anything about himself. He fights that way naturally.”

Pacqiao's defense is solid, how many punches did Bradley, who is pretty fast, land in two fights? a couple?

Also, part of Pacqiao's defense is offense, when he's unleashing a flurry of punches, it's not easy to counter without risking getting hit.

The fact remains that i'm not convinced Mayweather would beat Pacqiao; his opponents in the past 10 years have been nowhere near Pacqiao's skills. Meanwhile, Pacqiao has fought Bradley and Bradley is closer to Mayweather than ANY of Floyd's opponents are close to Pacqiao. Are Canelo, Ortiz, Guerrero, old Mosely, Cotto, Hatton ANYWHERE NEAR Pacqiao in terms of speed or skills? no. Bradley, on the other hand, is a hell of a defensive counterpunching fighter with good speed.

The thing going for Floyd is that he's undefeated but other than this, there is weak evidence he has the advantage; i just don't see much evidence, if any, that he can handle a fighter like Pacqiao.

Im under the impression he will lose eventually. He's so motivated by money, I can see him sticking around longer than he's supposed to. And if you stay around long enough, you will lose.

I just don't think Pac is to guy to beat him. Nothing in his style that should trouble FMJ.
