    Rosenbloom was only stopped twice in 274 fights ( Could be a record ), and had a keep away mobile stile that gave Joe Louis fits.

    Bert Sugar claimed that Louis management would not endorse this fight.

    What are Slapsie's chances?

    40 / 60 then? Never saw any ring film on Rosenbloom. Is there any out there?

    It was bandied about in the sportspages that Joe Louis's management wanted no part
    of tackling the LH Maxie Rosenbloom not because Louis feared Maxie, but he would
    make the Brown Bomber look bad even in winning...It still boggles my mind that in a total of 743 FIGHTS that Jack Britton, Harry Greb and Maxie Rosenbloom fought, there is
    not ONE FILM of their bouts. Amazing.....

    Well, Pastor made Louis look bad, and so did Godoy. Amazing there is no film on Maxie. I suspect there is.
