Rigo, B Hop, Mayweather, Ward, Lara, even Wlad Klitschko, dominate cause they actually know how to box. If u can't appreciate these fighters your not a boxing fan, you are a nationalist/culturalist/racists who uses the sport to back your nationalist agenda

Sure, you can only fight who is there, in that case you're a victim to a **** era.
Yeah it is a positive mark on person A, but if you read my original post, a central statement I made was in regards to 'premier ATG's'.

Oscar De La Hoya himself would obliterate everyone, IMO in more impressive fashion, if he took on Mayweather's career, but Oscar hung with monsters instead.

Extra: refer to victor879's post on B-Hop for another example.

You just backed up my point. Look at how short your list is. How many divisions and boxers are there? You named 6 guys that "actually know how to box." (There are obviously names you missed, but the list is still short)

    Think about it.

I believe you have a misunderstanding of the business. Showtime would actually be better off having Alvarez on regular Showtime. GBP has a small profit margin on PPVs. However, Alvarez was part of the largest revenue generating PPV of all time. That was a huge payday for him. The only way he's going to get anywhere near that amount of money again is through PPV.

America is free market. Everything is decided by supply and demand. If Canelo is truly not a PPV fighter, then enough people won't buy his fights and PPV won't be a viable revenue stream for him. The consumers aren't stupid. They will buy what they want to buy.

    That's right.

Most of Roids biggest fans don't have digital cable and even though they cans sell their FoodStamps for $.50 on the $1, they can't convert that cash to pay the cable co to reinstall their box.....b/c they owe 3mos back bills in each of their 8 kids SSNs.

However, Roid Mayflowers haters are more than happy to call over his fanboys who use their F/S's to buy all the party fixings, and the Arab store gladly takes F/S cards for brew.

So it's really Roid's haters who are buying the PPV, and Roid's *****s who are buying the beer and the chips/dips/and steaks.:deal:deal

First of all its Canelo's fans who claim Mayweather only boosts his PPV numbers cause of Canelo on the undercards so that tells GBP that you are willing to pay extra for Canelo-Angulo, so don't complain now that ginger is PPV you did it!!

And I'm here to focus on the ones who can box not the ones who can't....but don't act like the past was full of master boxers either. There's always more sluggers and brawlers than pure boxers, true skills require hard work and dedication

I doubt it's uo to GB to decide whether a fight is PPV worthy or not, i think it depends on Showtime and the budget they have for a particular fight, that's why Showtime should put pressure on the promoters to get the best possible opponent available, better opponent = better fight = more PPV buys = more revenue, I am against making fights like Canelo-Angulo or Floyd-Guerrero PPV events, because of Floyd's demands that Showtime had to give in to and now need to pay off so Floyd doesn't sue them or leave early

Your original argument was that you wanted Mayweather to fight the best and you insinuated that wasn't happening due to choice. You seem to have now shifted that argument to "the era is weak". I don't see the point in saying that Mayweather needs to fight guys that currently don't exist.
