I actually watch PPV fights from the US free on satelite TV, but on the other hand, ever since the PPV disease came to Poland, I had to endure such PPV worthy events like Wawrzyk-Povetkin, Wlad-Wach or Golota-Saleta

Well I can tell you that the contract demands that Alvarez has now could never be justified by Showtime's budget.

The newtork is not a promoter. Furthermore, although they would prefer to have fights not on PPV for the most part, they don't put out much money for a PPV fight. It would make little sense for them to try to dictate to the promoter in regards to an event where the promoter is taking most of the financial risk.

I'm not sure what you mean here. However, Mayweather was a free agent and Showtime signed him to a deal. They knew when they made the deal that all of his fights would have to be PPV fights.

Some of the matchups sucked, some were decent.

Mayweather and HBO/Showtime/GBP do a good job of promoting the fights.

    lmfao.

before pedjr made cross promotional fights an issue, pac retired washups and kos/tkos bums.

remember pac fighting pedjr's leftovers? thats how pedjr explained how embarrassed he was what pacquiao did to the bums he fought.

now it is easy to say pac will have a problem fighting the likes of ortreez, madona, drainelo bec cant fight them.:rofl

dont make that **** comeback pac was ko by marquez.

pedjr made jmm go up 2 weight classes, drunk his own pee and cheated him in the scales for good measure.

and dont get me started on drainelo. guy was so drained he was a statue the night of the fight. at least a zombie can walk.

pedjr now lookin g to fight madona and concaine:rofl:rofl:rofl

these bums easily 2 levels below bradley.

    bradley>pederson>concaine
    bradley>aleaxnadria>madona.

good these fights happened before, else *****s would argue these bums will beat bradley as well.

pedjr feeding on bums and call himself the best. maybe biggest joke ever:rofl:hi:

I'm saying he has the deal with SHowtime that he's guaranteed 32 million for each fight, and they have to pay it to him, even if let's say he fights Collazo and gets 300 K buys, and Showtime's revenue fall short of what they were hoping to make

No Mayweather fight is going to do 300K buys. And why are you so concerned about Showtime? They willingly drew up the contract and offered the deal to Mayweather. They must be confident that it will work out for them.

what I am concerned is that Showtime will start to fall short on $$$ to fill out their deal with Floyd, and start making every other decent event as a PPV fight because if someone's greedy they just keep wanting more and more $$$, and the one's who will pay for that are the fans

don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of PPV, but I understand that the best fighters should be paid accordingly to thier skills, hard work and dedication that they present in the ring, and Floyd is certainly one of the best fighters of this era

Pac and May would have to fight several elite fighters before they become the mandatory contender to fight the champ and get the title ... and those guys are tough and hungry they always go for the KO...

he will if he gets knfo by pac.

pedjr will do anything to avoid the fight. he will try grab as much money as he can under the contract until it is time to risk everything or hang the gloves and preserve his brand.

only time he will risk it is if pac is on wheelchair.

now he has forced mgm to have a pseudo war with tr. another road block because the previous ones were not enough.
