Either retire which would be best option or get a new knowledgeable corner as his other night were a disgrace! Literally like a few blokes pulled from the crowd

Although nobody to blame but himself.he failed to capitalise on an already terrific list of victims, and Im afraid his days of fighting at top level are long gone. The domestic scene is excellent around his weight though, and theres hardly anybody, including John, who would be a surefire favourite against him. Murray,as Skills points out,is in a better position than Scott ATM inasmuch as he has another outlet in training. Although there seem to be a fair few in Manchester, hell have a lot of respect in the area and there'll be no lack of boxers wanting to go to him. I think thats the direction he may go in,rather than his own career. Like Scott,he's done at world level.

The judges got it wrong that night. Scott clearly won the first four rounds and the last one in round ten, so Scott should have got the draw at least. You could give Scott the 5th and 8th rounds as well. Harrison was hard done to by the judges that night and I thought the wee Welsh commentator was out of order too. Scott never lost that fight.

Fair enough Moog, but if the chance presented itself of Scott having a tune up I think he should take it. I know Scott would be in better shape than Murray and I think with Murray standing right in front of Scott he would get dismantled. I do believe there would be only one winner when it goes to the trenches - Scott Harrison.

Ryan you think a full camp would make all the difference mate ?? sometimes i just think when yer times up its up , I saw the Walsh fight totally different mate with scott looking old and sluggish fair enough he took it at 4 weeks notice , but he had a full camp against Joe Elfidh on the Mitchell undercard who had 12 hours notice dragged out his gym gear n flew upto glasgow for the fight and was catching scott with heavy shots , Id love to be proven wrong and see scott making the bigtime again as it would be movie making material but i just think father time has struck

Nobody is saying Scott is as good as he was, but with a full training camp behind him I think he will be more than a handful for the lightweights in Britain. Like you say Scott only got a few weeks notice for the Walsh fight and remember Liam Walsh is a tricky switch hitter who would give most lightweights plenty to think about, but I felt Scott was hard done to by the judges in that fight.
As for the Joe Elfidh fight yeah Scott was sluggish because he was meant to be fighting in a ten rounder at lightweight, but his original opponent pulled out and the fight was cancelled, so Scott thought he wasn't fighting only for Elfidh to come in at the very last minute in a six rounder.

With all due respect there is not one area that Murray is better than Harrison at, so no chance he would beat him. Would be a classic whilst it lasted, but Harrison would retire him any day of the week

Also the fight was effectively a welterweight class, as Eldifth weighed 10'5st so Scott rehydrated upto that. Scott used that as a glorified spar, as he openly admitted after. He wanted rounds, nearly stopped guy early.
