Nope. They would lose to all of the big 4 regardless of weight and might not even get past Pryor or Benitez.

People think Pac and Floyds marketability and hype makes them special, but they are not

I never said the man would dominate, but to pretend he wouldn't be a champion in multiple divisions is absurd. Uncle Roger was a multiple division champion. Floyd is much better than his Uncle was, I've watched both.

Just be realistic. Floyd would have a good fight with Whitaker. It wouldn't be a blow out and any guy could win on a given night. If Uncle Roger could hang with Sweat Pea, it's realistic to assume Floyd would do even better. Floyd was hanging with Whitaker in the sparring ring as a teenager! Acting like that isn't a big deal is just being stupid.

The same era you're speaking about, Uncle Roger was a 2 division champion. You honestly believe Floyd wouldn't do much better than the Black Mamba?

And JCC would have his problems with Floyd at 130 and above. Sorry. No guarantee there either for either man in a match.

Sorry if I don't dismiss Mayweather's talent as easy as you do. The man would be a tough out for fighters in any era.

That's a fair point that I overlooked, but as we all know, it would have been desperately tough, "There be dragons"

Back then there was no juicy HBO/Showtime deals, you fought your way up into closed circuit, the best sought each other out for the big pay day. I could not see Floyd division jump, it was such a rarity back then, only the elite could attempt it, it was a fight for survival in just yer own division & a lifetime in some cases to battle yer way into the top ten hoping for your probably one & only shot at a title & then holding onto it. I see Pacquiao progressing more than Floyd, least we forget that Floyd has always targeted opponants who have large fan basis, Floyd has none of note, back in the day, Floyd would be good at super/feather & hope to get a big unification payday fighting in the Caesars Palace Pavilion on a Thursday afternoon in front of say 3/4 thousand people, he would not make good TV or closed circuit sales, you had to be a dominant champion for a long time, period! Just look how long it took Hagler to get the pay days, Olympic Gold got you half way up the ladder, but as Duran said, with regard to Floyd, he brings nothing new that we haven't seen before. Floyd would have to dominate a division & unify, then step up, but to what? different ball game then.

Not even close. Now while I was over joyed seeing Pac get ktfo, the look on Pac's fans faces was priceless. I've seen ko's much worse than what Marquez did to Pac.

Ray ''Merciless'' Mercer KO on Tommy Morrison was brutal but the Marquez KO on Pac is up there.

I do not dismiss floyd's talent, far from it & I know his Uncle Roger got his hands onto 2 belts, I always liked Roger, just a shame for him that JCC was about. the point I'm making is that back in the day the parameters were set diferently from today, I do not recognize these guys today calling themselves multi division champions as in comparison to the past. A whole different set of rules where in play before PPV came onto the scene. Sure Floyd & Pac may get an extra belt, albeit the lesser of the 2, an example is Duran taking Davey Moor's belt making him WBA Light middleweight champion, we all know who the real boss was, Hearns who held the WBC, if yer get me drift.

Don't get me wrong. Pac being knocked out is bad, real bad. It is about as bad as it gets, but not the worst. Bad though lol... Real bad!

That's funny, because according to previous ESB logic, Mayweather only sold by fighting Mexicans on Mexican holidays, his stacked undercards, or because 'real fans' (non Black, I assume), want to see him lose.

Haters, please make up your minds.

Incase you never knew, Floyd could fight. Floyd could always fight. Even through all of the hate, Floyd could fight. He didn't con anyone into thinking that he could fight. Floyd could always fight.
