    He was already offered a world title fight on HBO which he rejected because he is terrified of the Champion Gennady Golovkin.

    A win against Macklin on HBO should provide Geale with a world title fight on HBO - great news for Geale and Aussie boxing :good

    It's not just an opinion, he has ducked Golovkin three times now.

    If he beats Macklin the only champion he will get a fight with now will be Sturm and it will not be on HBO :good

    Time will tell won't it.

    The win you are predicting for Geale against Macklin will open more doors for him - there's little doubt about that and we need more Aussies making it big in this sport :good

    I disagree, Geale has already shown how limited he is by losing to no hoper Darren Barker.

    You're delusional if you think beating Macklin is making it big, the guy is past his best and is coming off a beat down from Golovkin, if Geale really wanted to make it big he should have taken the fight with Golovkin, he is just taking the easiest route possible.

    It is no certainty that he will beat Macklin, if Macklin has anything left he could quite possibly stop Geale which I am hoping for.

    Fighting on HBO is big. Winning on HBO is bigger still and should lead to Geale getting another world title fight. Looking forward to it :good

    Fighting on HBO is not that big anymore, HBO is desperate ever since Golden Boy left them.

    I hope Macklin will land a big shot then beat the hell outta Geale :good

    How many times did Mundine fight on HBO again?

    Oh that's right, WEALTH TV and Bronco McKart was as good as it got, and even then they had to give away three quarters of the tickets at the venue.

    Mundine again? That's how sad Geale fans are they will always compare everything he does to Mundine :lol: So we can't talk about Geale v Macklin without bringing up Mundine 100 times :lol:

    This is an undercard bout on HBO :lol: yeah massive fight :roll:

    Gealey blew Garth away way better than Sam or Anthony could do, if he fights like that then he should be well recieved in the USA, and the fight should be a great show! I don't know Mathew is totally spent, I mean GGG is a tough guy so a loss to him is kinda standard, bring it on! :bbb
