In 10 years, no one will be talking about Mayweather's "great fights". His legacy is toast.

    Also, Mayweather will be broke.

They say this every time a big name star goes out. When Tyson and Hoya went down - who will it be...

    Wah wah wah

Pac and Floyd rose to the top. Somebody else will, it's inevitable. And if the field is weak like Mayweather chose, they'll look better than they really are like Mayweather. And fans like you won't be able to tell the difference as per usual.

One of these cats like Thurman could turn out to be a multi-divisional master. We don't know yet.

True, they will find someone or manufacture it. Or maybe they'll have to change the rules like inthe NBA and no hand checking after Jordan retired.

If you can cherry pick for 18 years even when your promoter was the same promoter as Pac, you must be some type of alien.. He should run for president and then become a dictator and eventually run the world.. He can trick millions of people for 18+ years...

You've made it blatantly clear you're utterly biased, I'm not naive enough to think I can change your preconceived notions here. I will just point out Alvarez was most certainly the fight everyone was clamoring for, and Guerrero was the WBC mandatory. He has had some fights I wasn't too fond of, but has no doubt faced many formidable contenders too. Pacquiao has cherry picked many times too, how about Margarito after he got pummeled by Mosely? Hatton after Mayweather knocked him out, severely draining Oscar, making him kill himself at an advanced age? You see, they both have done it, both have great wins too though. Clearly you're a huge fan of Pacquiao, so you're going to believe he is the greatest, and that Mayweather sucks, no matter what. It's absolutely preposterous how rabid both of their fan bases are, you have serious extremists on both sides.

Seen him box, I'm not overly impressed. He will still get alot of unwarranted publicity due to the name though, just like Chavez Jr.

Not me. I am just utterly tired of Mayweather and his ways. But...there is hope. Sooner or later Mayweather will be gone and the sport will be the better for it.

Could you explain what you mean by "his ways?" The fact he has a big mouth, and acts arrogant? That's not actually Mayweather dude, ask people who have met him in real life, he isn't like that. He adopted that role to sell tickets, and line his pockets, because the villain is a role that generates revenue. Notice after his fights he is nothing but respectful to the people?

In the case of Mayweather and Pacquiao BOTH OF THEM are responsible for the fight not happening, they both have been ridiculous.

Yeah...Mayweather is so awesome. 20 years from now people will talk about how he defeated the great Baldomir to win the championship.
