Margarito was a nobody! Why fight him when all he had was a trinket. Balmdoir was the real champ wether u like it or not. Judah should've never lost to him, not Mayweather's fault.

Guess what?? mayweather still had the balls to fight Judah anyways after losing his titles. and u call him a cherry picker! I remember everybody and there mama was like "Mayweather still needs to fight Judah, southpaw that has the same or even more hand speed then him, most dangerous fight of his career"

Mayweather takes the fight now Judah anit ****??? oh stop. Same thing with Mosley! "Mayweather will never fight a true WW like Mosley" Whoops him then its "Mosley was way past it" just stop it.

The man is bout to fight 2 fights in a row unifiying titles. with need that in boxing. to many damn belts and u know. How come Pac doesnt unifiy??? Oh my bad hes with TR and wont ask his daddy to make a fight with GB. guess he'll never be lineal champ the rest of his career or unified

Video evidence? I've seen that ******ed plenty of times, it means nothing. Do you have any concrete evidence here? I'm pretty sure I just posted an EXACT QUOTE from BOB ARUM HIMSELF admitting Mayweather agreed to face Margarito, he just wanted 20 million guaranteed against DLH. It's clear as day Arum said Mayweather was willing to fight Margarito, that's the end of that. Oh and when Mayweather supposedly "ducked" Margarito to fight Baldomir, that was 2006. Margarito was a nobody at that point, his best win was against Kermit Cintron, he wasn't even in the picture.

Paul Williams? In 08 his best win was against Margarito, and he had just lost to Quintana, he was nowhere near a title shot.

Prime Cotto? Arum refused to let Cotto go near Mayweather. He didn't want his stock to be ruined, he was building him up. He also wanted to keep the money in house, so he had Cotto face Margarito, we all know what happened there. Soon as Cotto got away from Arum they fought, Mayweather won convincingly. Don't even start up about Cotto being shot, Mayweather is nearly half a decade older than Cotto, and Cotto was 31 years old at that time. He wasn't shot at all, Mayweather even fought him at 154, where he wasn't drained.

    This is just ridiculous.

Exactly, everyone was clamoring for that fight, *******s were everywhere claiming he was scared of Canelo. Those same people turn around and call it a cherry pick after Mayweather dominated, yet Canelo was clearly the greatest challenge, and what was being demanded.

They'll call a formidable opponent like Alvarez a cherry pick, but Pacquiao draining Oscar to a weight he hadn't fought at in half a decade, Margarito after Mosely pummeled him, Hatton after Mayweather knocked him out, shot Erik Morales, Brandon Rios etc. those are all great wins supposedly :patsch

I swear, you won't see this kind of hypocrisy anywhere else on the forums, it is something special.

You must not have been around then. On this same message board and others there were daily threads desiring that fight. There were interviews and talk about it on ESPN. Floyd dodged anything to do with it as usual.

That's one piece you found from Arum. The excuses back then were as plentiful as the excuses not to fight Pac, well, not quite.

You're off your rocker saying Margarito wasn't in the picture 2006-2007. Complete nonsense.

Yeah, his best W was the guy everyone else was avoiding, the perceived boogeyman. Nowhere near a title shot? He won the WBO off of Margarito. He followed up his Quintana loss with a KO1 victory.

Mayweather never mentioned him. He never would have faced Williams. This isn't an outright duck since this fight wasn't called for as much as others, but it's another miss especially since Mayweather retired after bringing Hatton to Welterweight.

That's what you're clearly ignoring. 2008 Welterweight was white hot, Mayweather sat that one out so he wouldn't have to to deal with the pressure to face those real threats.

How can you know that? That fight was being talked about actually. However, how can Mayweather be in any sort of position to negotiate a big deal Arum or not when he's on vacation for a reason?

And after Margarito beat Cotto, Pac beat Cotto and Cotto was faded, sure the fight happened. That Arum excuse doesn't hold as much water as you think it does.

How about Margarito again? Floyd was on vacation and let a roided up Mosely deal with him. Which he then fought Mosely off of a long lay off and made sure he was off the sugar, which rendered that aged version of Mosely practically useless.

Which Mosely prime was also a "miss". A duck? Not outright, but another miss. Too many misses here.

The mediocre Trout had less issue with him than Mayweather did in the same year. Sergio is about to tune him up easily. He surely wasn't prime!

The Margarito and Pac beatdowns made him a little gunshy compared to his best, didnt attack the body like his best, wasnt quite as tenacious. That's expected.

But still not one of the easier styles for Mayweather and Mayweather followed that up with useless Robert Guerrero, prior to that had faced useless Ortiz.

Biggest problem - How about Pacquaio?

It's either Arum, drug testing, or something unrelated. Too many excuses in a web of lies.

You're ridiculous for supporting this ****. I might not have every detail correct, but look at all the misses and dodges and it's fairly obvious he's overly safety first, doesn't fight the challenges for one reason or another and is bad for boxing.

If he didn't outright duck one, he did another. Pacqauio being the most blatant of all.

Hypocrisy calling Pacquaio out for draining Cotto supposedly then draining Canelo.

Fighting useless fighters when threats are around. No effort to fight those threats like real greats. Some just misses, some ducks, too many misses and too many bad PPVs.

    :deal

He will probably be guided like Chavez Jr and Alvarez. See you all in 5 years when he finally steps up to the big boys league :D

And no, i am not kicking him or anything. He needs to take his time and learn on the go.

What? Fights like Mayweather vs Baldomir you callin' bad PPV?

Gawd! You don't know nuthin' 'out Boxin'. That Baldomir was a terror! At any moment Baldomir could have KO'd Floyd with one mighty shot! And you say Mayweathers PPVs are bad?

Good and bad. He's famous and bringing new boxing fans. We need boxing superstars, so they keep people following boxing and not MMA.
