So a rerun pulled 90% of a live fight? I guess it was PPV, but Hopkins gets the bad rap of being boring. That's such a shame. More people should learn to appreciate the nuances of the sweet science. Many viewers probably don't even know half the things Hopkins is doing in there. If you can't understand something, it's tough to appreciate it.

Let's be honest. Shumenov would beat Bradley. Hopkins would beat Pacquiao.

If true, it doesn't bode well for Pac/Bradley 2 PPV numbers.

The 760k views were just for those who viewed the main event, Hop-Shu.
    Porter-Mag had 890,000 views

The 680,000 Pac-Brad views had no breakdown for under card and main event so no telling what fraction of the total actually watched.

Big deal Kovalev's first main event did almost 1.1 million a couple weeks ago.

And the funny thing is Kovalev has only been around several years on American TV

It was a bad night for boxing as a whole. There was much to choose from and boxing was not the first to be chosen.
And i bet you Hopkins doesn’t care about Kovalevs numbers, he is getting paid more than Kovalev each time out :D

Well, numbers mean something to Kovalev a guy that just started on big tv I and if he keeps this up (winning) he will be making way more then Hopkins in a few years max

Pssshh.. Kovalev's purse was over 400k for his first main event on hbo not bad imo

True. Lets hope that he makes more in his next fight. The numbers state that he should, and waaay more.

Not great numbers for Hopkins, even the casuals knew this fight was not going to be competitive.
