Shawn Porter ALREADY making quacking noises to avoid The Special One.

Brook is British, that in of itself is a handicap he will not be able to over come vs Porter.

 

It's hilarious enough that the special one has 32 fights with only one worth noting.

 

if porter decided to fight a bigger name instead of defending his first title against brook - then that sure does spell out how little these belts mean these days

its a shame because everyones just after the big fights these days - no one cares about taking on anyone and everyone - they just want that quick buck

I cant vouch for him because I dont know what his choices are, but if he goes that root, tis bad for the future of boxing imo

 

Hopefully we can get this matchup underway since it's great for boxing fans and lovers of the sport. The welterweight divison will be really intresting to see in these years to come!

 

Brook is a coward and hes **** so face it and get over it. Hes got the worst resume in the history of boxing and he got battered by carson jones

 

Porter is all hype...

If he struggled with a guy like Julio Diaz with decent pop and good timing, he will lose badly to Brook

 

People could of said the same about Porter before he fought Alexander. He had 2 fringe contenders on his CV, Alfonso Gomez and Diaz and a lot of bums, and he struggled badly with Diaz in their first fight. When he stepped up and fought Alexander and Paulie he looked the part so who's to say Brook won't do the same? Now there are even threads saying how amazing Porter is and he should fight Mayweather atsch lol when only 6 months ago his CV was worse than Brooks. In 6 months time if Brook beats Porter and another contender will he get the hype Porter's getting?

A lot of people saying Brook is a coward, he 'ducked' Alexander. Well Alexander pulled out of the fight first with a bicep injury then Brook had to pull out with a fractured metatarsal which he needed a cast on. Boxers get injured like in any other sport, there's nothing they can do about it.

Brook will be 50 before he fights anyone of note. Running away from everyone as usual.

ironically, Brook has ducked Alexander twice and Timothy Bradley once. and lol at taking a dig at julio diaz... he is better than anyone brook has fought... atleast porter has stood up and dismantled devon alexander and destroyed paulie... remember brook's fans will say brook's biggest win was againt senchenko (and moan about look at how easily he destroyed him , he is world calss blah blah)... well the on the same note porter destroyed paulie, and paulie made senchenko quit... so then give porter massive credit.. because no one has done that to paulie either...

 

Brook is 27. He is going to be 28 in 2 weeks. He turned pro in 2004 and has had 32 pro fights. No one really of note besides a faded Senchenko.

Porter is 26. He turned pro in 2008 with 25 fights and already has a WAY better resume than Brook.

As I said. brook will continue to trash talk but still has not fought anyone of note.

 

I'll start by saying I'm not a Brook fan but I will be wanting him to beat Porter so Khan vs Brook will happen. Brook or his team did duck Bradley which is one of the reasons I don't like him. But how did he duck Alexander? Did he injure Alexanders bicep forcing him to pull out so he didn't have to fight him? Did he break his own foot? lol

Porters CV was awful before fought Alexander, he had 2 class C boxers and that's it. Brook's CV isn't amazing but he has 7-8 class C boxers and now he's stepping up. Just because Porter stepped up his opposition 6 months before Brook doesn't mean ****. Porter is not a great boxer, he doesn't have the power people are saying, they watched the Paulie fight and no think he's superhuman. He only has 1 KO in his last 6. Brook is on a 4 fight KO streak.
