What boxer can bench the most?

    Rahman supposedly could bench over 500lbs. He was freakishly strong despite having long arms as well.

    bench press is not a true strenght test though, I would be far more interested in what they could press overhead.

    Haye himself said he could benchpress about 160 kg while he was AT cruiserweight. He definetely didn't weight 91 kg while doing so...

    Right now, Briggs must be up there at or near the top...which just goes to show how relevant of a statistic this is.

    Generally it would be someone with shorter arms...

    I read somewhere that Leapai is benching with 200kg but I am not sure if it is true

    i've personally seen kostya bench 225 lbs over 20 x fighting at 140. prob was abouy 155 lb at that time. prior to the 1st mitchell fight. he was in fight training for about 2 weeks at that time

    I love the fact that some people are making fun of Smokin Joe for not being able to military press what ever it was. Most people on here couldn't either. And for the few that will scoff and say "pfft! I warm up with that." Too bad you'll never hit half as hard as Joe could ;)
