Hey Einstein, Roy represented three organisations, and therefore always had three mandatories to fight.

He put Harding and Tarver into an eliminator, then fought the winner, and then the loser, on three occasions.

Malinga was probably a better fighter than Kessler.

Once again, you have zero perspective.

Don't just directly compare Kessler to Ruiz. Look at the circumstances and the challenge that it brought to both Joe and Roy.

Roy fighting a guy who outweighed him by over 20 pounds, coming off of wins over Evander Holyfield, was probably a bigger challenge than Joe fighting Kessler at the same weight. Especially as Roy had fought almost 50 times.

So what if Kessler had two belts? He'd beaten Beyer and Sciaca.

So what if Ruiz hadn't had many knockouts?

Joe was facing a 168 pound Kessler.

Roy was a LHW facing a 225 pound HW.

Kessler holding those two belts was no bigger than Ruiz holding his.

    Also, Roy didn't handpick Ruiz.

You won't give Roy credit for dominating Ruiz at HW, yet you'll praise Joe for beating Kessler, after FOURTEEN years at the weight.

This is why no intelligent person on this board gives you an ounce of respect.

Roy's circumstances in the 90's were the same as Joe's in the 00's.

Roy couldn't unify with Benn and Liles, so he moved up to LHW. Now you don't give him any credit for that, and accuse him of ducking those guys. Now Roy could have stayed at SMW and just waited until circumstances changed, and he was able to get another shot. But he didn't.

Joe faced the exact same problem with Ottke. But instead of making a move to LHW, he remained at SMW and EVENTUALLY got his reward against Kessler over four years later.

Yet here you are praising Joe for his great win in 2007.

But the only reason he unified the division, was through a lack of ambition to move up earlier.

So don't try and rubbish Roy's achievements, while at the same time you praise Joe, because you look like a damn fool.

Joe doesn't have one win better than Roy's.

Roy's wins over Toney and Tarver top any win of Joe's.

Not with Jay Nady as the ref.

Don't forget that Nady tied Ruiz's hands behind his back and blindfolded him, when he fought Roy.

I think the head shots he took against Eubank and body shots he took against Benn took an awful lot out of him in early 92. He fought Jones in late 93.

No, not the post-retirement, post-shoulder surgery version. The one that fought Sosa and Eubank.

Going by this nonsense then surely David Haye must rank much, much higher than Roy Jones due to what he did to Valuev and the apparent 'ATG' John Ruiz. David Haye also has never failed a drugs test.
