i had Murray beating Walsh 115 -113 As for Walsh not looking as good as he did against Harrison thats cos Harrisons all round boxing skills are more limited

Smith-Murray is a mis-match,Smith is a lot better than Joe. Joe was jus trying to get himself a big fight... No shame!

Think Smith at 130 is a lot better than the Smith at 126. I know he's lost to Selby but I think the Smith at 130 beats Selby. IMO he took Selby to lightly plus weight. Be good to see that fight again??? Smith looks a class act.

Isn't 2 wins over simpson of note. His beaten a guy ranked top 10 in britain in a round won british and commonwealth titles. He lost and had to rebuild. After a very good am career also. His a good lad sky hype all their fighters not his fault. Imo smith wud beat joe murray but wudnt hav it all his own way. Joe cud give any super feather a tough night and cause up sets. If he got settled with a trainer and watched his weight. Who knows.

In fairness Simpson was on the end of bad decisions against Smith. I think Simpson won both fights. Smith is a good prospect when he's going forward. Soon as he's pushed backwards he folds

Harrisons all round boxing skills are more limited, your having a laugh. Harrison has far more boxing skills that Joe Murray will ever have

I totally disagree mate, it wasn't the weight or him taking Selby lightly it is all about styles and Selby's size and ability will always make it hard for Stephen Smith to beat him.

Stephen looks total class against Gary Buckland and John Simpson because they come at him and engage him, so Stephen can counter them with clean punches on the way in and punish them for mistakes. Against Selby it is Stephen who has to make the fight due to Selby having the longer arms and counter punching style, Stephen isn't comfortable doing that and is punished for his mistakes.

That doesn't mean Stephen isn't a classy fighter and can't go on to fight for big titles imo Lee Selby will always be the wrong style for him.

Smith-Murray is not a mis-match and I don't know why anybody would be against it.
Stephen got two lucky wins over Simpson, he was then KO'd by Selby and then came back to KO Buckland, but that doesn't make you world level. I mean does Stephen think he's world level now because he vacated the British title over a contract dispute.
The two eldest Smiths are acting like a right pair of Sisters these days with all their bitching about being better than domestic level. Lets do the talking in the ring guys.

If you were smith tho and fighting regularly with a decent world ranking would you honestly give the idea of fighting joe Murray the time of day? Murray's not going to give smith a huge payday or take him a step closer to a world title is he?

Hold on a minute mate the Smith's don't pay they're own wages, THE FANS pay the wages. And just because they have a ranking doesn't mean they're entitled to a title shot. If they want world title fights then they need to have tough fights and not just fight guy's they want to fight. The Smiths can't expect fans to turn up and watch them have easy 6 and 8 rounders just because they have a world ranking.
The Smiths should want to be remembered for fighting the best and not be remembered for the guys who were scared to risk their ranking because that's what it looks like at the minute.

50 years from now, all people will remember about The Smiths is that they were a decent pop band in the 90s. :rofl
