I think people underrate the fact that Boone has a punch. Ask Ward and Kovalev too. Geez Boone has dropped one of the best 3, you gotta realize he has a punch.
I agree, he was quite hittable in the Campillo fight, and was being outboxed until Campillo started gassing. He is lucky Campillo doesn't have power. I can't imagine that long thing neck giving his head the proper support when Stevenson detonates that left hand on his chin.
Being that this is only a showcase fight to build towards a Kovalev fight, HBO should cancel this unless they can get the Kovalev fight worked out and guaranteed for the fall. With Haymon in the picture I really doubt Stevenson will be getting into the ring with Kovalev. They'll price themselves out and go to Showtime to fight Hopkins.
Not kidding. Alvarez, Le Moo, Jermell C., specially Looking forward to Beterbiev - Lacy (no matter how shot he is he's still not too old a guy and a massive fight for a 4 fight pro novice). Hell even Zewski has some (a little) promise. Funny to see the GYM guys in with the GBP / SHO guys though - just shows what should be possible. Fonfara ain't a joke and I can see him having a few moments, but I'm pretty sure we see another Stevenson T/KO - probably mid rounds.
