    In their last five fights:

    FROCH

    1. George Grove 19-0 KO
    2. Mikkel Kessler 46-2 UD
    3. Yusaf Mack 31-4 KO
    4. Lucien bute 30-0 KO
    5. Andre Ward 24-0

    Vlad

    1. Alexander Povetkin 26-0 UD
    2. Francesco Pianeta 28-0 TKO
    3. Mariusz Wach 27-0 UD
    4. Tony Thompson 36-2 TKO
    5. Jean Marc Mormeck 36-4 KO

Who has faced the better (Skill level) competition?

Klitschko and its not even close. Froch's best win is over a 19-0 domestic fighter that he only won due to a bull**** hometown stoppage.

Well, the question asks about the level of skill of their opposition, win or lose and even minus questionable decisions/outcomes. :good

    Same clarification as above.

    Kessler was old?
Aren't he and Froch roughly the same age with roughly the same amount of wear and tear? :think

So, your opinion is, at the time Froch fought Kessler II, that Kessler's skills were less than any of Vlad's opponents?

Froch, and by a good margin. Not Wlad fault his era sucks though. Froch is far more exciting though. Every time you watch him fight you know he will put it all on the line.

Yes, it was not so much what you said, but what you meant. Just wanted you to say it clearly minus the mealy mouthed run around. :yep

You know, Kessler the second time, was really a better Super Middle than Byrd or anyone Wlad's ever fought as a Heavy. Never mind the obvious answer to this question. Let me just throw that in. It doesn't mean Froch is a better boxer, but there you have it.

And there was no 30 to 35lb weight advantage either.

You simply can't compare the opposition as heavyweight is BY FAR the worst division in talent and depth.

The heavyweight division is so bad so, that most people don't bother with it anymore.

why limit to just 5 fights?:huh Looking at their records in entirety the answer is obviously Klitschko. Froch has not dominated his division for several years.
