    Tough one to call

I think he didn't put as much effort into getting back to his feet as he could have, because I think he was starting to feel Hopkins power and was possibly starting to gas himself.

So I guess that's technically quitting, as opposed to taking a dive.

whether it was a dive or not i dont give a damn...but a liver shot no matter how hard or just a tap really hurts big time...

i joke around with a friend of mine by giving him a "tap" punch on that side and he just collapse and writhing in pain on the floor and i thought he was just kiddin but after a while he said he felt like dying in there for a moment....

No he didn't take a dive. He could have gotten up from that punch though, and gotten a bigger ass whoopin.

Oscar's richer than all these guys, and will make huge amounts of cash after he retires, I don't see him taking a dive, what could anyone give him to take a dive.

He was ahead slightly on one card, but pretty far behind on the others. I think 6-2 and 7-1.

If Oscar took a dive he deserves a grammy. He rolled and then screamed from the bottom of his soul from that body shot

Amazing 51 people on this forum have never boxed and never taken a hard shot to the liver.

    Actually not amazing at all.

To each their own. I personally believe he was stopped fair and square.

Yes, it was a dive. A poor acting job and a dive.

Oh and you had a way longer and prolific career than morales, right?

It did look very suspicious. Fighters get hit EVERYWHERE to the body dozens of times throughout fights and keep fighting. Just watch any of Chavez's signature fights.

With that said, it still doesnt mean he took a dive.
