tyson fury is ranked highly in all organisations and by the ring, we all know the HW division is not the shining light of boxing at the minute however is fury deserving of this high ranking or is it just down to the fact the division is poor? i like fury and rate him as one of the best in the division and very deserving of a world tittle fight, but in yesteryear i think he would of just been a capable European level fighter who maybe would of got a shot one day.
Well, he's a sucker for the overhand right and that will probably be his undoing. But if he can get up against big punchers too and shows Cunningham like recuperation power he might actually surprise a lot of people. I thought he was going nowhere after getting beaten by McD, and dropped hard by soft punching Pajkic only to get a British stoppage win the next round. But he has become better as I ever imagined he would. Still I don't think he can hang with the big hitters in the division. Certainly when they show some skill too.
Fury is a bum. Since he is in Englan, with the right management he can become the equivalent of the HW Calzaghe.
He's definitely as good as Bruno or Akinwande. Both of which won HW titles and were highly regarded as HUGE wins on ATGS resumes. Now, can Fury do what they couldnt, and that's remain relevant for more than a couple yrs and not fade into obscurity if/when he loses a title fight?????? Thats a whole different ballgame. Tyson has a very good team aournd him which should help him maintain focus for at least another 5-7 yrs. Hopefully, he and Eddie Chambers can fight it out for one of the titles after the K2 are outta the picture.:think
GOAT. No one has ever laid eyes upon a man with such guile and grace as Tyson 'Silk Purse' Fury. He wins each one of his fights with such ease that he once had to punch himself in the face just to try and even the odds.
I think the Chisora rematch will tell us a lot about how far he can go. Fury is still relatively untested despite his high ranking. The first Chisora fight was against a woefully unprepared Chisora and Johnson had the perfect style for him and was never anything more than a gate keeper anyway. Based upon what I have seen off him I don't think he would have won a title in the previous era. Bruno at his best was better, more versatile, harder punching and even more coordinated. He may have beaten Akinande though I think Hide would have caught him with a big shot and stopped him. Time will tell but I don't expect him to get past Chisora this summer.
Hmm... if he tries real hard he could aspire to mediocrity. Think Dimitrenenko or Ustinov. He better keep up the training though.
You will se when he dismantles Chisora one sided. Wlads manager said they want no part of him. Wlad may as well retire because Fury is going to be the man of the division and Wlad will never step in the ring with him. Tyson best work has been in the gym and Haye robbed him of his coming out party. He'll show whats he's made of in July.
Tyson has great potential. He's huge, the biggest in the actual division. And he has good stamina and can use his size advantage. He also can deal with opponents in the inside. He just has to stay focused and not clown around. He has already good wins on his resume, and he's really young. Between the heavyweight prospects, he's the one that has showed more skills and variety. His jab is second to none when he sticks to it. He could even outjab Wlad, in the future. That may sounds crazy, but apart the slight reach and height advantage, he is also good at using all the extension possible. He is surprisingly fast for his size. He is also good at working the opponent's body. Really, if there's one that has a serious chance to beat Wladimir Klitschko in the future 2 years, that's Tyson Fury. And he can dominate the division after Wlad's retirement.
