Khan did dominate 1st round and second he landed lots of clean punches also, but Garcia was hitting him back, they were both trading by the second round, it was great fight it was all out brawl, even in the 4th round they started trading (shows how low Khans Boxing IQ is)

Not sure if its mentioned but ali vs cooper, people go on how dundee got ali minutes of rest when he gained him an extra 8 (approx) seconds

    ---------

DLH vs Pac wasn't a catchweight fight it was ww fight.

DLH didn't win 5 rounds, he won no more than 4, lewis clearly won 7 rounds (atleast)

This blog right here is correct on how there is total revisionist history with Ali-Foreman.

I will give the TRUE account of this fight, and not the deluded farce that you posted.

    Hopkins vs Calzaghe

Hopkins clearly defeated the bum and farce Joe Calzaghe only to get robbed due to judges incompetence. The judges and delusional fans assumed that volume punching and meaningless air-punching work rate was better than Bernard's masterful and superior counterpunching. Just like Oscar DLH in his fights vs Pernell and Floyd (in which Oscar clearly lost both times despite what the judges said), Calzaghe was the ineffective aggressor while his opponent was the more effective counterpuncher.

Calzaghe threw pitter-patter slaps on Bernard's arms and shoulders, and hit air. He complained about Hopkins faking a low blow (which he did) - while forgetting all the times he hit Bernard in the back of the head without being penalized. On no planet did Calzaghe win more than 6 rounds, and because of the knockdown from Bernard there is no way he legitimately won the fight. This is not the amateurs, this is professional boxing. Tip-taps are not going to win you rounds, especially when you hit air more than you tip-tap the opponents elbows and shoulders.

Compubox stats almost always are innacurate - even glancing blows or blows that completely miss can be counted on the punch stats as an effective shot, so if the compubox stats are your reasoning for Calzaghe's legitimacy then you are a fool. On top of that, matches are scored round by round - not based on who landed more overall shots. If fighter a breathes on fighter b that counts as 10 landed shots. Calzaghe parrots always recite compubox stats as their reasoning to "prove" that Calzaghe was out landing/working Hopkins - instead proving their own incompetence, ignorance, and status as neophytes with regards to boxing.

Before round 12 - Calzaghes dad - "What are you doing?," "It's over," "You HAVE to stop him." Clearly not a cornerman just trying to keep his fighter alert and motivated. They all knew they lost. Just look at Calzaghe's face before the scorecard announcement.

End of discussion Hopkins won minimum 6-6 + the knockdown. Black and white. I don't know about England but in America it's black and white. Vegas don't know nothing. YOU don't know nothing. I know everything!

Pacquiao-Marquez III- This is a fight many have strong divergent views about, myself included, but the revisionism I particularly dislike is the notion that Marquez simply ran during the last few rounds. This doesn't become a story at all if HBO doesn't pick up Beristain's comments and Steward throws a fit about them, but though Marquez's output may have dropped a bit in the closing rounds (as attributable to fighting above his best weight as any idea that he was simply looking to survive), he was still landing clean counters and Pacquiao wasn't exactly dominating him or separating himself in those frames either.

Leonard-Duran I- The idea that Leonard's style in this fight was somehow anomalous compared to his career up to that point or that he fought Duran's fight is pure nonsense.

Yeah..when people say things to the extent of "Leonard went back to his usual style in the rematch against Duran"....you know they haven't actually much of Leonard's fights. Same thing with Hagler and people thinking he was usually a pressure fighter.

People see Leonard-Duran II, Leonard-Hagler, and Hagler-Hearns and conclude SRL was a dancer and Hagler was a crude brawler.

    OOH OOH I GOT ONE!!

    Mayweather - Hatton!

Supposedly Cortez wouldn't let Hatton work on the inside... That is a myth! Cortez let them fight until Floyd would clinched... When they clinched, he broke them (like he's supposed to do)

Cortez didn't stop Hatton from working on the inside, Floyd did

I agree about the Fury Cunningham fight. And yeah, JLOT held his own with RJJ.

I had Tyson well ahead in the fight with Douglas.

    BUT...................

Vitali was NOT being beaten more and more each rd after the cut.

The cut opened in rd 3. A rd that Lewis CLEARLY won.

The 5th was a closish rd that MOST ppl give to Lewis. But Vitali clearly came back after the 3rd and won the 4th and 6th, quite clearly.:deal

Honestly, the recent Pacman-Bradley fight is one. I was out of town and did not see it live, and when I sat down to watch it I expected Pac to dominate. But I thought that you could conceivably give 6 rds to Bradley. Not saying I did, but its not crazy.

And speaking of compubox- in round ten I thought it was very close, going either way, and then I see ompubox had it like 26-12 punches landed. Thought that was waaaay wide.

Mayweather - Canelo. Floyd deserved the UD but it wasn't a complete domination...and that's saying something because Canelo was poor that night...Floyd wasn't particularly great that night but he got the job done

    Mayweather Castillo 1.
Pplmame it out to be a close win by Castillo but it was a blatant robbery
The early rounds were shared but after that Castillo dominated
It wasn't even close, Floyd was totally schooled in his prime
