I can't recall many of the significant fights from Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Mexico, Panama or Argentina being televised. Are you suggesting fights involving the likes of Yamanaka, Moreno, Ioka, Inoue, Miura, Uchiyama, Reveco, Gonzalez, the Kameda's, Srisaket, Nietes, Casimero aren't significant?

 

Those aren't shown on Matchroom, Boxnation, Eurosport... so obviously people don't see them as significant, whether you think that's right or not it's the way it is. If you want to follow those little divisions here, you'd need streams.

The most popular Mexican and Argentine fighters are shown tho, Matthysse, Maidana's, Santa Cruz's etc

All of the non UK cards are broadcast in numerous countries all over the world and you don't need Butt Nation to watch any of them.

The domestic fights on Butt Nation are not even worth streaming these days.

The home of boxing also the last source to broadcast boxing news even when the fights are about to be broadcast on the channel.

I was about to say, Ben is the Journalist who blew the lid off the whole Burns v Vaxzquez situation.

It's obvious Bunce had some sort of thing against Jacobs, Bunce and FW we're trying to sell the Burns v Vazquez fight as if it's still on and Jacobs was reporting it was off, which in turn, ended up being the truth.

Last night all Jacobs did was translate a tweet from the WBA president from Spanish to English (because not everybody speaks Spanish), and Bunce went off on one. Had the Jones v Lebedev fight been on Sky and not Boxnation i bet Bunce wouldn't of uttered a word.

 

The little divisions? The guy mentioned 2 guys at Super Featherweight which wasn't a little division when Burns was making his name there.

Using the logic that Matchroom (I didn't realise they were a channel), Eurosport or Boxnation aren't showing them means people don't want to see them is a bit odd. It wasn't so long ago that Golovkin wasn't being shown and Kovalev was fighting in Russia did that mean people didn't want to see them, or did it mean that they weren't given the chance to see them?

Give fans a chance to see Miura, Yamanaka, Uchiyama Inoue, or Srisaket and fans will love them. They need that chance.

Just because British TV isn't giving them exposure doesn't mean they aren't significant either.

 

Boxnation isn't as polished as sky but I can't see any problem with the overseas fights they're getting, it's great value.

They need to drop bunce and Lillis though, talk about tin pot...
