    So you want to see a man that you've never met, probably never seen, and has no effect on your life at all hurt and/or killed? I'm guessing because he won't fight xyz huh? If it's my time Lord take me now...

    Whoever is No.1 influences the whole of the sport by the way they behave. Boxing has gone as far down the toilet as it can go in the last 5 years. The quicker he fcuks off the better. Who wants to see three more fights against overmatched opponents?

    I don't even care that he will blow all his money and be smoking the pipe with his uncle and daddy in a few years time. Just don't give him any money and get him out of boxing.

    well mate thats your opinion but alot would argue he is holding the "dying sport" of boxing up by being the highest paid athlete of all time. you must understand his persona, he wants to play the villain you are falling for it hook line and sinker maybe more so emotionally then financially (as i get the feeling you dont buy his fights)

    i know its hard to accept maidana as an opponent though i feel he did earn the fight with a great win over broner its hard to say mayweather handpicks opponents when his last fight was against canelo alveraz. this is the guy who EVERYONE thought he would duck and who many like myself thought he had a real chance at losing to (i thought there was a 40 percent chance floyd would lose that fight). and the numbers dont lie it was the highest grossing ppv event in history and it was because alot of people tuned in to hopefully see the man lose.

    you dont have to get bitter about it, everyone tuned in to ali's fights hoping hed lose because of his loud mouth (and perhaps more so because of his religion and pro black rights involvement).

    in his last few fights he has faced some over matched opponents but he has also fought some real big challengers and considering he is past his best and 37 years of age i think that deserves respect
