judges!

How can you say that when you agreed with the scoring for Ricky's fight with Beltran mate. Bit of double standards here.

He is talking about judges in general, not his fault about that decision , Billy has probably been robbed aswell.
Currently the judges and scoring cards are poor, needs addressing ASAP.

 

Ricky's had a few gifts

 

Understatement of the year. And billy always backed them up so this post of his disgusts me tbh.

 

You know more than most boxing has always been like that, and is not going to change anytime soon. Until a personality with the monies required can create a dominant base like MMA, judges will be appointed not on always ability.

 

It is a huge problem, and judges need to be held accountable when coming up with scorecards like that.
Problem is that the ones that do get appointed the bigger fights more often, because the promoter knows they can count on them to bail their fighter out if he's on the losing side in his next fight.

Last night's 118-110 stood out like a sore tumb again, but I actually think the worst problem is the judges that constantly score it say 115-113 or 96-94 for the wrong fighter in closish fights. Not much attention is drawn to them but they severly damage the sport.

 

People post on here to share opinions so why do you get so excited when someone brings up an example where nearly everybody agrees that the Beltran decision was bizarre..

 

Its a definite problem Billy. The whole sport needs a big shake up. I would love it to go down the ufc route. You would see the best fights made and better decisions. Heavy bans and fines should be handed out to anyone who is in on the fix. More results should be overturned too. For the record Billy obviously you would back your fighter if he gets the nod in a fight.

 

Nearly every week scores are very questionable it was obvious Burns would get brought in to this as he was very lucky vs Beltran

You said on sky that ricky deserved the draw and on here you said the same, you even left the forum because you couldn't stand the onslaught. Don't tell lies mate.
