I never noticed the lisp til tonight. Thought he was maybe trying subconsciously to imitate Tyson.

would love to see thurman against danny garcia, mattyhse, porter, alexander, pac, providnikov, josesito lopez etc etc. there are plenty of legitimate tests out there for him, i think he leaves him self open for a big shot and his chin is questionable. he loses to most of the people i mentioned.

porter beat feather fisted paulie in 4 and people say he is ready. well why not my boy thurman ? he blasted the guy porter had a draw with in 3 rds. that was porter fight before the magic man. to be honest though neither man has done enough before keith has looked more impressive than any other ww out right now. he should get a chance to fight porter and that would determine the next guy for floyd to fight. porer gone have to square up with thurman so he might as well get ready :bbb

With on 21 fights, now he's ready for Floyd now!!!?? :patsch Who has Thurman faced?? You pac fans are something else.. Do you really think Thurman can get LUCKEY against Floyd at this stage of his career?

Jeff Lacey looked EXACTLY like Thurman did in the early part of his career unbeatable power puncher. Like Lacey, Thurman lacked real world class experience.

Lacy was rushed based on his power punching alone , with no real defense to think of. They are making the same mistake with Thurman, thinking his punching power is the end all be all in Boxing . Thurman has yet to face someone who will not go down so easily and we have yet to see what happens when Thurman takes as good as he receives.

This is the era where a mediocre champion can dominate even more mediocre competition and clain greatness.
In the case of Thurman, he is still young and still has much to prove.
Thurman has a lot of potential to elevate his game and become a real skilled future champion.
It's just a matter of honing his skills and facing good competition.

I don't give a f*ck who Floyd and Pac fight next or if they both retire tomorrow.
I follow boxing more than 2 times a year. Maybe you should try that, since you don't know who Keith Thurman has fought.
Mayweather v Maidana is for the WBC and WBA super title @147. What ever happens in that fight, Maidana's WBA world title is going to become vacant.
Thurman currently holds the WBA interim belt @147, so he should be in line to fight for the vacant WBA world belt. The next step after that would be(in theory)to fight whoever has the WBA super belt. After next week that is going to be Mayweather or Maidana(most likely Mayweather)
