Who do you think Billy Nelson will train next to become a world champion?

I was at a show at the weekend and the talk was Nelson has a super middle/light heavy who punches very very hard and is freaky strong, supposedly stopped a heavyweight inside three rounds in sparring.
Maybe this lad will be his next champion?

No idea what is coming through up there and this purple patch with Scott Harrison and Ricky Burns may not be repeated for 20 years. (Don't really recognise Alex Arthur a World Champion as he never won the title in the ring and lost his only real World Title Fight to Nicky Cook.)

Billy Nelson should relocate to London if nothing coming through as he has proved he can improve potential world champions.

I wouldn't blame Billy if he doesn't talk about his current stable not with the way the Hearn/ Sims axis is operating at the moment.

Got a feeling Billy has got Joe Ham when he turns pro, a good chance he could do something.

Impossible to answer in an educated manner; so many variables to consider.

It is wholly possible that BN will NEVER train a world champion again, they don't grow on trees.

This is very true a lot of time and effort goes into producing a world champion both technically and mentally not everyone's got both, some may be stronger atone and weaker at the other that can make all the diffrence

Agreed, and the fact it takes such a rare mix of technique, skill and mentality makes it all the more special. Even in these modern days of multiple world champions in every weight division, to be in the top 4 or 5 in the whole world at a certain weight class is a phenomenal achievement.

Correct that's why people should step back and have a hard think before being critical regarding a boxers performance, could the person being critical do better? Simple answer to that isn't it

Not sure I agree with that, just for the fact of whilst we, or 99.9% of the world couldn't do better, we can still judge whether a boxer has performed well, especially against the level that they themselves or others at their level have set. As an example Danny Garcia, looked awful in his last fight - But he would of still of beat the vast majority of boxers in his weight class.

I do hate the whole "Boxer A is a bum, Boxer B will get exposed" brigade, it is very disrespectful.

i agree far too many people here critisize every boxer and call champions bums etc. even the losing journeymen needs respect as without him there is no boxing. yes we can be critical of a boxers performance but people do not need to be rude and make fun of them
