Am I supposed to be IMPRESSED by Tuhurman TKOing a SHOT Julio Diaz?

Yeah, you're supposed to be, if only because Diaz's most recent fights were against Amir Khan and Shawn Porter. Thurman's performance compared to theirs are night and day.

You don't have to think Thurman is the best and the future based on a win like that, but the performance in light of recent history is damn impressive.

its a good win, the best thing i have got out of it is a caparison between how thurman an porter both faired against him, as i am anticipating the thurman porter megafight to come off

We would have never know what it would have took for Thurman to beat Porter due to the injury .

 

The injury was caused by a body shot. That's like saying Virgil Hill may have beat Jones if it wasn't for his cracked ribs.

 

Did feel kinda gutting we didnt get to see a proper ending but it just shows you cant come forward and be wreckless against Thurman because he will hit you hard

 

Hill wasn't coming on like Diaz was either way I think Porter beats him.

Porter, is a beast and he comes on really strong but i believe all that aggressiveness is going to back fire in his face. Thurman, is a more craftier fighter and he has just as much power as Porter. Thurman, destroyed Diaz with no open doors to be left open. Porter, had to fight him a second time to do the same. These two are headed for a clash and when they do, its going to be amazing!

 

It has to be one of the asinine things I've heard. That's like saying we don't know how the khan garcia fight would have turned out without the 'lucky' neck shot.
