Don't see how anyone can say otherwise. Thurman hits far harder than John Molina, finishes much better and possesses much better boxing skill.

    Discuss.

    From last night?

Thurman looked hella sharp, and explosive. Lucas would be tamed very early, not perhaps knocked out, but tamed.. he wouldn't be going in carelessly, that's for sure.

I see Lucas going down again and again from Thurman's left hook.

He can't take that power, no way.

    Lucas isn't outboxing Thurman either.

It's a horrible stylistic matchup for Matthysse. I see Matthysse getting a beatdown before the eventual stoppage. Too much power, too much speed.

I think Thurman would knockout both argentine 140-147lbs brawlers.

What I'd look for early is Lucas falling onto a right hand the way he did Molina, if he does that with Thurman he might not have time to recover and be pissed with himself.

Of course, Thurman is the truth at 147

Did you really need to make another Matthysse thread though lol

Lucas, comes to fight and i don't care who the opponent is. But i have to agree with you on this fact. Thurman, would beat him into a reality check. All that swing for the hills would come to an end early. Thurman, is a lot more technical sound and has the punch accuracy and power to win convincingly.

Thurman is also explosive enough to catch Mayweather, call me crazy. :smoke

I badly want Thurman to be one of Mayweathers fights, that'd be insane.

first, Lucas is a 140 lbs fighter, we don't know what he'd look like as a WW

second, Thurman, despite having the superior speed and reflexes advantage, has a leaky defense, proof of which was that he got rocked by lesser fighters than Lucas

my pick would be Thurman winning a decision, with both guys getting floored at least once in the fight

It'd be a very good fight.

After Thurman gets his hands on Porter's title, I want to see it.

You're just an idiot and you have no boxing knowledge whatsoever...

I speak the truth, no trolling.

I'm sorry you're so utterly butthurt over our little discussion yesterday. Maybe you should go back to sleep.

    You got wrecked.

I don't know why you're hating Lucas though, the man is clearly about everything that's good for boxing, he comes to fight, he's humble and he grits his teeth when in a war and goes for it.

Don't know why anyone would dislike the man? He also seems genuinely likeable.
