Leapais trainer said after the fight that they might offer Shannon Briggs the opportunity to come down to Australia next and fight Leapai. If they were to fight next who takes it, Leapai or Briggs, and how?

Hard to say considering that Briggs was retired for a couple of years and he wasn't good even then. Now it's obvious that he is on the juice, but I still assume that his stamina is very poor, although Leapai isn't very good in that department himself. I'd favor Leapai to beat him by stoppage.

Lepai's claim to fame is beating an overrated padded bum in Boystov.

poor matchup. Really i'm tired to see these payday fighters, who don't train seriously. Where is the old days when everyone came to fight in shape? now its just talk talk talk, but no action in the ring.

I was surprised as well at Leapai's conditioning. Despite all the talk he came in at his heaviest weight ever. Pretty much sums up this era, half the contenders don't even show up in decent shape.

I have zero interest in seeing Leapai/Briggs.

Leapai targets a Briggs/Charr fight next.

Old shot Briggs will win. He's still has the better skill set, real KO power and a good chin @ age 42.

Would be nice to see Leapai shut the disrespectful Briggs up..... Maybe fight Briggs on the Klitschko/Pulev undercard, and get a decent payday.

Lionheart kicks his ass. Briggs is done. Don't let the Klitschko beatdown confuse you.

I would stir the pot if I was Wlad, and tell Briggs, and Charr to fight each other, and then promise to fight the winner in Nov.
Then in sept. I would announce a Nov. fight with Pulev, followed by talk of fighting for the wbc strap in mar. 2015.

Lets face it Briggs deserves no shot at even the usba at this point, and Charr should get in line, and wait quietly.

Let's be real there is a ton of more deserving challengers than either.

How do you know Lepai will have the hunger to get his head caved in again after being force fed knuckle sandwiches for 5 rounds?

I think Briggs would knock Wilder out. However, Briggs will never be the same after Vitali put in the hospital for a week........................Briggs lost every round, that fight should have been stopped..........
